Nya Lee Reveals Pregnancy News — Former ‘LHHNY’ Star Is Expecting A Baby Girl!
Former Love & Hip Hop: New York star Nya Lee dropped some exciting news for her fans on Wednesday. The rapper posted a brand new Instagram photo, and in it, Nya reveals that she is pregnant. The LHHNY alum also admitted that she is 28 weeks along and has been hiding her bump from fans.
Nya has been making a lot of headlines lately, most recently for her conversion to Islam. Could the new baby be the reason Nya has decided to get religious? Lee told fans on Instagram that not only is she expecting a baby girl, but she’s also nearly six months pregnant.
She posted, “Oh boy how I’ve been carrying so small and hiding this from yall for such a long time.”
Lee is carrying rather small, and she’s making pregnancy look easy in a long black dress with a thigh-high slit. Nya is doing the dab in the picture, and she looks very happy. The reality TV star-turned-rapper admitted that she wanted to keep her pregnancy a secret even longer but admitted she just couldn’t keep the secret anymore.
“I was trying to hold out a bit longer,” Nya confessed on Instagram, “but I can’t take it anymore my first baby girl will be here in a few weeks and her mommy is so proud and happy to introduce her to the world…”

This isn’t all we can expect to hear about Nya Lee’s pregnancy and the upcoming birth of her first baby girl. Nya said she has plans to sit down with another LHHNY star, Yandy Smith, and dish all the newest details of her life. Until then, Nya admits that she’ll be laying low and keeping quiet to make sure Yandy gets the exclusive to share with fans of the hit VH1 reality show.
It seems that late pregnancy announcements are all the rage. Wetpaint pointed out that Tara Wallace, who was a Season 4 castmate of Nya’s, also delayed her pregnancy announcement. In Tara’s case, keeping news of her newest child with Peter Gunz a secret was simply a publicity move. Had Wallace announced her pregnancy prior to the current season of LHHNY airing, then it may have hurt her cause. Tara, Amina, and Peter are all on the VH1 hit because their story line draws in a lot of viewers. If Tara had told her business earlier, the drama may have died down before we ever saw the love triangle hash it out each Monday night.
What’s the reason for Nya Lee staying quiet so long? We’ll have to wait for her sit-down with Yandy Smith to learn the reason for keeping her baby bump a secret. Then, LHHNY fans will have to wait just a little bit longer to meet Nya’s baby girl.

The 25-year-old former stripper has made a lot of changes in her life over the last few years. After leaving LHHNY, Nya Lee moved from New York City to Los Angeles in pursuit of a rap career. Lee has also bought a home and even converted to Islam.
Nya said of her conversion on Instagram, “This has been a personal and private 2-year journey for me and I kept it like that because of the ignorance and scrutiny of today’s society and the obvious misjudgment of people saying that I am so called “NON-MUSLIM” material.”
