Simpson: American Crime Story is out, everyone is curious once again about what happened with O.J. Simpson years ago. Radar Online is now sharing that Kris Jenner revealed that years ago, O.J. Simpson told her that he didn’t do it. This is all from an interview years ago Kris Jenner did for Good Morning America.
In this clip, Kris Jenner revealed that she has been talking to O.J. Simpson from jail. Here is what Kris revealed all those years ago.
“I’ve talked to him a few times, he called me from jail. He wanted to talk to me, I’ve known him for 20 years. I asked a lot of questions. It was so early on [in the case] and I just listened to him and I think he listened to me because I think there was a fondness we had for each other. We were friends.”
Kris Jenner also explained that he told her he didn’t do it. Kris and her late husband, Robert Kardashian, were close friends with Nicole and O.J. Simpson. They spent a lot of time together, and Robert even helped O.J. during his trial. In the first episode of the show, it was revealed that Robert was with him up until the time that O.J. got in his white Bronco and drove away.
ABC News shared how Kris Jenner felt about her ex-husband Robert actually defending O.J. Simpson during his trial. This was a very difficult time for Kris Jenner because Robert was trying to keep O.J. Simpson from going to jail. Jenner spoke out about how hard it all was for her and the family of Nicole Brown Simpson.
“It was excruciating to see how painful it was for the families to hear them go over and over all the details of what had happened. It went on for so long. It was very stressful. We didn’t know what the verdict was going to be. I couldn’t breathe. When the [not guilty verdict] was read, everybody was stunned. I was just numb. And seeing the photos of [O.J. and his defense team] celebrating, it was hard. Losing her was something that I can never quite get over. But I will always have such love in my heart for Nicole. She is a part of my life that will be there forever.”
Hollywood Life shared the news that Kris Jenner knew things were not good at the end of Nicole Brown Simpson’s life. Kris shared that at the end of Nicole’s life, her friend knew she had to be more vocal about things. Nicole even told her at one time that O.J. was going to kill her and get away with it. Kris Jenner feels guilty that she didn’t pay more attention or do more to keep Nicole safe. Nicole filed for divorce two years before her murder.
