Kim Kardashian & Amber Rose Selfie Shocks: Twitter Poll To Title Kanye West Album Gets More Votes Than Iowa Caucus

Kim Kardashian is famous for, well, being famous. And the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star knows how to use that fame to get even more attention, from social media to the family’s reality show to photo shoots that break the Internet. So when husband Kanye West and his former girlfriend Amber Rose got involved in a Twitter war that included Wiz Khalifa, it was Kim who shocked everyone involved by reaching out to reconcile with Amber Rose, reported People.

Kardashian and Amber flaunted their renewed friendship with an instantly viral Instagram selfie only a week after Rose had slammed Kanye for comments about her son. But even though Amber had dated Kanye, Kim decided it was up to her to be the better person, a source told People.

“Kim is a mom and wants to be a role model. She doesn’t want to be involved in ridiculous drama,” said the insider. “She reached out to Amber. They met and everything is fine now.”

Kardashian kept her caption for the now-famous selfie simple.

“Tea anyone?” wrote the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.

“Me and Wiz spoke yesterday,” tweeted West.

The feud began when Khalifa had a comment about the new album that’s become the big buzz for Kanye. West misinterpreted one of Khalifa’s posts as being about the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star (“Hit this kk and become yourself”), but Wiz clarified it was a reference to marijuana.

But the explanation was offered only after Kanye dissed Khalifa, Amber, and even Wiz’s almost-2-years-old son, Sebastian.

In addition, Amber attacked Kanye on the Allegedly podcast regarding the comment about Sebastian.

“I would never talk about kids in an argument,” declared Rose. “It just shows the type of person he is. Even him saying stuff about my son, I still didn’t say anything about his kids. I’m not going to. This is ridiculous. They’re innocent babies. You don’t ever, ever talk about a baby, ever.”

Kanye showed that he sided with Rose when it came to children, turning to Twitter again to make his agreement known.

“God’s dream… Never speak on kids again… all love… all blessings…” tweeted West.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star took it to the next level by creating a poll to title Kanye West’s new album, which garnered more votes than the Iowa caucuses, reported the Hill.

Even though the presidential contest in Iowa got a big voter turnout, the number of votes suffered when compared to Kardashian West’s poll for Kanye. She succeeded in getting nearly half a million votes before it ended.

That poll vote success of 439,102 votes compares to Republicans’ total of over 182,000 caucus-goers and the Democrats count of 171,000 caucus-goers.

Although some were dismayed that Kardashian and Kanye got more voters than the presidential poll, others thought it was beneficial, contending that quality of voters not quantity counts in a slam against reality TV stars.

As for the final result, voters chose the original title that Kanye had given his album rather than the other options West had then chosen, reported the Daily Mail.

The choices were Swish, Waves, and the original title of So Help Me God. Following the final voting tally, it’s the initial choice of Kanye, So Help Me God, that wins.
