Donald Cerrone: UFC Fighter Does A ‘Barrel Roll’ In A Truck But Is A-Okay To Fight Tim Means

One of the more prominent fighters in the of UFC is Donald Cerrone. Currently ranked number two in the lightweight division, Cerrone is known for his kickboxing though he has training in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and boxing. Needless to say but his disciplines have accounted for his 28-7-0 record with one no-contest over the course of a decade. However, it is his enigmatic charisma which earned him the record of most post-fight bonuses in MMA history, a total of 15 consisting of Fight of the Nights, Performances of the Night, Knockouts of the Night, and Submissions of the Night.

Donald Cerrone is not just a “Cowboy” in the MMA cage though. Outside of MMA, Cerrone is known to be an outdoorsman who finds entertainment in mountain climbing and bull riding (thus why he is called “Cowboy”). Apparently, Cerrone got a little too excited during one of his outdoor shenanigans in which he did a “barrel roll” in a truck. Thankfully, Donald Cerrone is a-okay as he prepares to fight Tim Means in a couple of weeks.

Donald Cerrone made his “barrel roll” mishap known through his official social media accounts. According to MMA Weekly, “Cowboy” posted up a couple of pictures on his official Twitter account, showing the aftermath of him flipping a truck over.

Apparently, Donald Cerrone wanted to make sure everyone knew he was alright despite the “accident.” Cerrone simply said he was “playing way too hard in the snow,” but he was able to walk away without any major injuries. As a matter of fact, Cerrone says he was able to make his workouts for the day too.

Not everyone finds Donald Cerrone’s failed “barrel roll” mishap entertaining. Apparently, Slater Johnson, the son of the owner of the truck, cannot believe Cerrone flipped his dad’s old truck within one weekend, It is possible the tweet is a joke though.

To be frank, Donald Cerrone is lucky he was able to walk away from this incident because he had some extreme close calls before. According to BJ Penn, Cerrone is actually missing half of his stomach and a few feet of his intestines due to an old ATV accident. He was racing motocross at the time and wrecked really badly in an accident in which he literally “spilled his guts.”

The other person who is lucky Donald Cerrone was able to walk away from the crash is Tim Means. “The Dirty Bird,” along with “Cowboy,” will be headlining UFC Fight Night: Cowboy vs. Means on February 21, 2016. The venue holding their fight will be at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. If Means is able to knock off Cerrone, it might just be enough to put him in the running for the lightweight title, which might be “the money fight” if Conor McGregor takes the belt from Rafael dos Anjos.
