Caitlyn Jenner Reveals Why She Waited To Transition, Talks Relationship With Kris Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner is now speaking out about her big choice to wait to transition. A lot of people have wondered why she would wait this long, but a year after her transition, Caitlyn Jenner is now sharing what took her so long to get to this point. E! Online shared the details about why Caitlyn waited and how she revealed that her relationship with Kris Jenner was part of the reason that she put it all off.

Caitlyn spoke out about it during the MAKERS Conference on Tuesday afternoon that celebrated women’s stories. Jenner shared how she almost transitioned years ago but ended up putting it off until later.

“I started doing things to make me feel better about myself. I started on hormones. I was a good 36B. I loved them. I thought this was fabulous. My mission at that point was to transition before I was 40. Got to 39 [and] I just couldn’t go any further.”

At this time, Caitlyn Jenner was known as a huge Olympic athlete. Jenner went on to talk about how Kris Jenner was part of the reason that she didn’t do it back in the 80s. These two were getting along great.

“Three or four months later, I met Kris [Jenner]. We hit it off from day one. I was very honest with her. I had to be, I was a 36B. Everything was really heading in the right direction, and I made this decision to move on with my life, Kris and I together with this family.”

Because of all of this, Caitlyn Jenner now has a family that is amazing. When Kris and Caitlyn met, she was a 36B already, so she had to be very open with Kris. Caitlyn said that she actually had to have her boobs removed at the time. Kris and Caitlyn agreed that she wouldn’t dress up around the house, but instead, she would do it while out on the road. This shows that Kris Jenner knew from day one about what was going on with Caitlyn.

Now, years later, Caitlyn Jenner made the decision to leave Kris Jenner and move on with her life by transitioning. If Caitlyn had done it back then, Kylie and Kendall Jenner wouldn’t be here, and it all worked out okay in the end. Now Caitlyn has changed at a time where she can help the world to understand what is going on.

Just Jared shared the news that Caitlyn Jenner actually kicked off the big 2016 MAKERS Conference held at the Terrenea Resort on Monday (February 1) in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. America Ferrera, Katie Couric, and feminist writer and activist Gloria Steinem were also at the big event. Dyllan McGee, MAKERS founder and executive producer, spoke out about this diverse group.

“We can no longer just talk about the issues facing women today, we need to act. Over 36 hours, we will profile a diverse group of women who are doing just that — from setting records on the playing fields to coding solutions to changing society, the time is now.”
