Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Spotted Taking Their Kids To Dinner, Ready To Call Off Divorce And Reconcile?

Are the recent sightings of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck a sign the estranged couple is putting the divorce on hold and getting back together? Rumor has it that is could be a possibility.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple was spotted at the Forma Café restaurant in Santa Monica on Saturday evening. Jen and Ben shared the evening with daughters Violet, 10, and Seraphina, 7, while their son, Samuel, apparently stayed home with the nanny.

Although Ben has been busy filming Live By Night, reports X!7, the actor took time off the set to be together in front of the kids. And after the dinner, which ended around 7:30 pm., Jen and Ben, along with their two daughters, all climbed in the same car and returned to their Pacific Palisades mansion.

A few pictures, which can be viewed here, show the family looking a lot like, well, a family. While the Batman v Superman star was dressed in a casual T-shirt and beanie, Jennifer sported a loose black, white and grey colored blocked top with blue jeans and black ballet flats. The actress also had her hair pulled back in a ponytail and opted against any makeup.

The former love birds have worked together to keep their failed marriage as painless as possible for the three children, even living Prince Andrew and Fergie-style under the same roof. And although Jennifer was the one who filed the divorce papers, the papers haven’t been signed, and recent rumors suggest that she is rethinking ending their marriage.

Design & Trend reports that a source close to the couple recently shared with Radar Online that Jen is trying to reconcile their relationship, which went down hill after Jen accused Ben of getting too comfortable with the children’s nanny, an accusation which Ben Affleck has denounced since day one.

“Jen really thinks there is a chance they can fix their relationship,” a source told Radar Online. “Ben’s being good and not going out in public much these days, so she has this glimmer of hope they can make it work.”

Unfortunately, the source also claims that Ben does not want to get back together with the mother of his three children, and the only reason he hasn’t completely moved out is for the sake of his kids.

“Ben is living in the family house, but in a separate section. He has a room to himself, but it’s in an area that Jen goes to on a daily basis,” another source recently claimed to E! News. “It has forced them to have to day-to-day interactions and spend a lot more time together than a typical separated couple. It’s working well for the kids to have both of them there in close quarters, so they have made sacrifices and agreed to do it for now.”

The source continued, “It hasn’t been easy, especially for Jen. She is fed up and frustrated with some of Ben’s choices, but she chooses to look the other way and do what’s best for her kids… She feels like Ben is no longer her responsibility, and she isn’t going to stress over what he’s doing.”

E! News also had a second source claim that although Ben isn’t interested in getting back together with Jen, he has no plans of moving out soon.

“There are no plans for Ben to move out anytime soon, with work commitments, they will both be in and out of the house and just want to keep things stable for the kids.”
