Forget the Iowa caucus results — Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose have taken a selfie together. Exhibit A of Amber’s selfie with Kim can be seen below. Posted three hours ago, at approximately 5 a.m. ET on Tuesday, February 2, the selfie shows Rose wearing black sunglasses and striking red lipstick. Kardashian has gone for a nude lip look with four cornrow braids in her hair. The selfie with Amber and Kim is so significant, especially due to the controversy that has surrounded the duo because of the man they’ve shared in common: Kanye West. It was controversy that had Amber’s mom telling Kanye to “f yo 30 showers” comment, as reported by the Inquisitr.
On Twitter, Rose titled the selfie between Amber and Kim with a frog emoji and a cup of coffee. While Amber titled her selfie with Kim with the word “swingers,” Kardashian posted a question on her Instagram selfie with Rose with a simple question.
“Tea anyone?”
As known in reality TV show parlance and slang, to “spill tea” or give someone the “tea” means to share gossip and tell them the real story about what’s going on in someone’s life. Therefore, the “tea anyone” question begs loads of answers. In the meantime, on Instagram, the Kim and Amber selfie has gained more than 60,000 comments on Instagram and more than 583,000 likes on Instagram. Rose’s Twitter pic of the same Kim and Amber selfie has been retweeted and liked en masse more than 20,000 times.

On Twitter, the Kim and Amber selfie is being reported as a trending topic, with Twitter reporting “Kim and Amber” as trending for two hours now, right below important political events as the Iowa caucus and TV shows like Grease Live. Some are calling Rose and Kardashian’s selfie a political event all its own.
As reported by the Independent, Kim and Amber possibly created the selfie to show a united front between women and to make Kanye seem less like a misogynistic dope. West famously claimed that Kim made him take “like 30 showers” before Kardashian would sleep with West, all because Kanye had previously dated Rose. Amber clapped back at such slut-shaming, and when a recent feud between Wiz Khalifa (Amber’s ex-husband) and Kanye featured West calling Rose a stripper, the internet reminded Kanye that Kim rose to fame because of a sex tape with Ray J.
Now, with the Kim and Amber selfie trending like crazy, it seems Kardashian and Rose are trying to smash the beef between the feuding members — or at least put up a united front like they are doing. Reactions to the Kim and Amber selfie are pouring into social media — on both Twitter and Instagram. They give the public an idea of what people really think about the selfie posted by Kardashian and Rose.
Amber has openly wept about the slut-shaming that Rose received from West and his “30 showers” comment, so perhaps the selfie is a way for Kim to make nice and have Kardashian stick up for Rose in a way that Kanye hasn’t yet.
