Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Over Already? He Plays Free Show In Alabama, While She Heads To Church In L.A.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani were spotted out and about over the weekend, only this time the two were not together. While Stefani was seen on her way to church in L.A., Shelton held an impromptu concert in Alabama. Does this mean the two are taking some time apart from each other?

Stefani was sighted braving the rainy weather over the weekend as she made her way to church with her three boys, Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo. The photographs, which were released by Daily Mail, show the singer in a long khaki coat complete with black boots.

The family was photographed on their way to mass and the only person missing from the group was Shelton. This is surprising considering how fans have barely seen the two apart in the wake of their burning romance.

In addition to the church outing, Just Jared is reporting that Stefani took her youngest boy to a basketball practice over the weekend. Again, Shelton was nowhere to be seen as Stefani and her son made their way through the streets of Sherman Oaks, California.

While Stefani was spending time with her kids in California, Shelton was apparently bored on the other side of the country. With nothing to do, Shelton took to Twitter and teased fans that he was getting ready to do something crazy.

“Hi.. Sorry I haven’t tweeted much lately. Bored today. Maybe I’ll do something ridiculous later… #serious,” he wrote.

Fans were quick to offer up some suggestions on what he might do, with one fan asking Shelton to perform an impromptu concert for fans. In response, Shelton was a little hesitant at first at the idea of putting on a surprise concert.

“Hmmm…. That’d be fun. But probably couldn’t find a place to do it on this short of notice,” he stated.

However, Shelton was able to get the details lined out and before long revealed the time and place where the free concert would be held. “Ok so here’s what I’m gonna do.. Birmingham Alabama.. You! Full concert tonight 8 PM at the Iron City club!! #serious,” he stated.

With only 1,300 tickets available, ET Online is reporting that the concert sold out in a matter of hours. Over a thousand people were unable to get tickets as a crowd quickly formed outside of the venue in Birmingham.

While fans certainly had a good time at Shelton’s spur of the moment concert, it isn’t clear why Shelton was not spending time with Stefani, especially consider how bored he was. Is it possible that the two are taking a little break from each other? After all, their relationship has been moving very fast over the last few months.

On the other hand, according to Vine Report, Shelton and Stefani are getting ready to collaborate on a new country album together. Not only that, but Stefani is also rumored to be pregnant with Shelton’s baby.

With that in mind, a source told the outlet that Shelton is preparing to spoil his new kid and is thrilled to be having a baby with Stefani.

“Blake is going to spoil her like crazy. Whatever she wants, she will get. He’s so generous with his siblings and nieces and nephews, you can only imagine what he’ll be like with his own little girl. She will have Blake wrapped around her little finger.”

However, Shelton recently dismissed the rumors of a baby and a forthcoming wedding with Stefani. In fact, the country star poked fun at a few tabloid magazines on Twitter, writing: “For gods sake…. I wish I’d been collecting these all this time.”
