Miley Cyrus ‘Fantasizing’ Wedding To Liam Hemsworth: Inside Their Romantic Reunion, Including Rescue Dog Adoption

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth just got engaged — again. But although they’re reunited and it feels so good, Miley doesn’t want to rush down the wedding aisle. Instead, Cyrus and Liam are enjoying heating up their hook-up again as they look forward to the future, a source told People.

However, that doesn’t mean Miley is ignoring the reality that now she’s engaged to Hemsworth, a wedding day glitters enticingly in her future.

“[Cyrus is already] fantasizing about their wedding,” revealed the source. “They don’t have a date. They are moving surprisingly slowly.”

The insider noted that while previously Miley tended to act impulsively and rush into life, she’s matured.

“Miley seems to have matured a lot,” praised People’s source. “In the past, she tended to rush things. She acts much more calm and happy now.”

Cyrus, now 23, initially was engaged to Liam, now 26, in 2012. Then they split. But now, with the sighting of Miley flaunting the same Neil Lane engagement ring that she sported the first time he proposed, Cyrus and Hemsworth have been confirmed as reunited.

“Liam is staying with Miley at her new Hidden Hills house,” revealed the source. “He has been filming Independence Day: Resurgence. When Liam is off, he and Miley have spent time together at home.”

Some couples in the entertainment world seem to love the spotlight, soaking up the attention from celebrity-hunting paparazzi. But since they became re-engaged, Hemsworth and Cyrus have rarely been spotted together, and there’s a reason, according to the insider.

“Miley has been surprisingly low key [because] she is trying to make sure Liam is happy. They haven’t been out in public, because Liam doesn’t like the paparazzi chaos,” explained the source.

As for how the Hemsworth family feels about the renewal of the relationship, they were previously concerned. However, when Cyrus visited Australia recently, they became better acquainted.

And for those curious about how their reconciliation came about after their highly publicized split in September 2013, Miley and Liam first reunited in southern California last spring, according to ET.

Fans were delighted to see Cyrus sporting Liam’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle onesie at Halloween on Instagram, getting clued in that something was going on.

In addition, while Halloween costumes might fall into the category of “still friends after a breakup,” when Miley assisted Hemsworth in adopting a rescue dog, the speculation went from pals to PDA in November. It was both sweet and suspiciously like something a couple might do together, hinting that they were reunited already.

The rescue dog reunion occurred at Wylders Holistic Pet Center, which shared a photo of Liam and his new rescue pup, crediting Cyrus for uniting Hemsworth with his new dog.

“Thanks @mileycyrus for loving dogs as much as we do!! You helped find this gigantic, 6 month old puppy a new home. @liamhemsworth you will give this deserving baby a great life!” reads the caption.

Add in the sight of Liam and Cyrus close together during an Australia music festival, and the bets were on. Those betting that they were together won when the engagement ring re-appeared on Miley’s left finger.

Hemsworth also has been candid in declaring that he feels he will always view Cyrus as someone special in his life.

“You fall in love with who you fall in love with; you can never choose. I guess some people just come with a little more baggage. I mean, look — we were together five years, so I don’t think those feelings will ever change. And that’s good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn’t just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be.”
