One Direction Fans Roast Simon Cowell In Spoof Video [NSFW]
It is fair to say that One Direction fans are not exactly fans of X-Factor creator Simon Cowell. Of course One Direction fans are grateful that Cowell created One Direction during the 2010 season of the talent show, but many of those same fans have come to detest Cowell with a real passion. For many fans, Cowell is a manipulative egotist who has worked One Direction to the verge of collapse and has been responsible for the manipulation of One Direction fans.
On Saturday it was reported in the Inquisitr how Cowell has been able to influence reporting in the tabloid press about One Direction. Cowell’s influence spreads through One Direction’s management and PR companies and many fans believe that Cowell has exploited these links to help to amass a huge fortune on the backs of One Direction and some of the other acts that came to stardom through the X-Factor route.
It would not be an exaggeration to say that many One Direction fans have come to detest Cowell, so it is absolutely no surprise to see Simon’s vanity made fun of in a hilarious video that has spread like wildfire on the internet today. As a result of the video, One Direction fans are currently trending the hashtag #OhNoSimon.

One Direction fans are revelling in the hilarious video, which purports to show Simon Cowell and David Walliams sharing a bath tub backstage at Britain’s Got Talent. In a series of scenes playing on Cowell’s vanity, an army of attendants can be scene blow-drying that hair on “Cowell’s” back and on even more intimate parts.
Of course One Direction fans are renowned for their ability to poke fun, and as you would expect, a series of amusing meme’s emerged alongside the hashtag. Of course, many One Direction fans have recognized that once seen, it has impossible to unsee this video.
Of course, much as One Direction fans would have loved it to have been Cowell in the video, it was a spoof, but that has not stopped fans having a little fun at Cowell’s expense.
One Direction fans were delighted last week when it was revealed that Harry Styles is distancing himself from Cowell. Styles ditched both Modest Management and HJPR within a few days as he signed with Jeff Azoff and Dawbell PR. Fans are hoping that this will see the rest of One Direction follow suit and that they will also distance themselves from Cowell’s SyCo as well.
Amazingly, the Express reports that Cowell only has nine out of 155 X-Factor finalists still on his books, and that number seems set to fall further with One Direction about to enter their hiatus. Cowell has already lost big-money sellers like Leona Lewis and Cher Lloyd to other labels and One Direction seems set to follow their lead.
As previously reported on Inquisitr, One Direction is by some distance the biggest act to emerge from Cowell’s X-Factor, and with the show struggling in the ratings, it is highly doubtful that One Direction’s success will be repeated.
According to the Independent, Cowell has shown once again how ruthless he is by dumping 2014 season winner Ben Haenow after his debut album peaked at number 10 in the U.K. charts, but his latest single “Slamming Doors” failed to chart at all. Louisa Johnson, the 2015 X-Factor winner will be looking anxiously over her shoulder as her “winner’s single” a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young” was the worst chart performing winner’s single ever.
One Direction fans will be hoping that the group can move on from Simon Cowell so that they can have more artistic freedom. Whilst they wait for that day to come, having a little fun at Cowell’s expense will be putting a smile on the faces of many One Direction fans this morning.
