Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton: Christina Aguilera Teases Blake About Gwen During ‘The Voice’ Taping

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton recently spent a little time together in Blake’s hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, but the lovebirds couldn’t stay there to roost together forever—Blake had to get back to work on The Voice and Gwen had three sons to get back to, who were likely missing their mom.

On Wednesday, Gwen Stefani was spotted in Los Angeles with sons Zuma and Apollo and their adorable fluffy brown puppy. Apollo might be the youngest member of Gwen’s brood of boys, but her almost-2-year-old son was given a very big responsibility—the tiny tot was in charge of holding his puppy’s leash. Gwen Stefani actually looked a bit glum during their outing in the paparazzi photos that were posted on the Daily Mail website, and this could be because she was missing Blake Shelton. The jacket she chose to wear, a green L.A.M.B x Burton jacket with camouflage sleeves, could have been a nod to her cowboy boyfriend and his fondness for foliage print clothing. Noticeably missing from her outfit was the green camo cap that she’s often seen wearing whenever she’s with Blake.

Last Sunday, Gwen Stefani was wearing the hat when she and Blake visited Tishomingo, Oklahoma, for a little R&R. According to E! News, they were spotted shopping together at a dollar store, and Gwen snapped a selfie with a fellow shopper using the lucky girl’s phone.

Blake Shelton didn’t just treat his girl to dollar store bargains during their trip—he also gifted Gwen Stefani with a sweet new ride with big brown eyes. On Sunday, Gwen took to Instagram to reveal that she’s now the proud owner of a horse named Halo. Gwen shared a photo of her new pet all decked out in fancy fringe.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani likely headed back to Los Angeles together earlier in the week because Blake had to film The Voice while Gwen spent time with her kids. According to a fan who attended Wednesday’s live taping of The Voice, coach Christina Aguilera “roasted” Blake Shelton by bringing up Gwen Stefani. The fan revealed that Christina gave Blake a hard time after he picked a girl for his team who sounds just like Gwen.

Christina Aguilera is replacing Gwen Stefani as the only female coach on The Voice this season, but Gwen is still going to get to go to work with her boyfriend. According to Us Weekly, she’s set to return to The Voice as an adviser for Blake Shelton’s team. The show’s other advisers will be Sean “Diddy” Combs (Team Pharrell Williams), Tori Kelly (Team Adam Levine), and Patti LaBelle (Team Christina Aguilera).

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will likely enjoy getting to see each other at work because it’s about to become difficult for them to spend a lot of time together. Gwen will soon have a new album to promote, and Blake’s tour will begin in three weeks. According to Rolling Stone, Gwen’s boyfriend will be hitting the road on February 18, and his 11-show tour will keep him pretty busy for about a month. Blake is using the short winter tour to drum up publicity for his upcoming album, and he recently decided to do something crazy to prep for his tour.

According to Entertainment Tonight Online, a bored Blake Shelton was tweeting back and forth with fans on Saturday when he came up with the perfect way to entertain himself. And no, the singer didn’t spend all afternoon responding to more of the rumors about Gwen Stefani being pregnant with twins or planning a wedding—instead, he spent the day planning an impromptu concert in Birmingham, Alabama. One of Blake’s Twitter followers seemingly inspired the surprise concert idea.

Blake’s performance took place at the Iron City entertainment venue in Birmingham, and 1,300 wristbands were handed out to the first fans to show up. So far, no one has reported seeing Gwen Stefani at the gig.

Shelfani fans can only hope that Gwen Stefani will find some time to join Blake Shelton when he goes on tour next month, but, if she doesn’t, at least they’ll be able to see their favorite country boy and Cali girl together when Gwen begins advising Blake’s team on The Voice.
