Louisiana Teacher Arrested in Meth Lab Raid

Monique Bordelon, a 37 year old physical education teacher at John Clancy Elementary School in Kenner, Louisiana, was arrested along with two men when police stormed a suspected methamphetamine lab in the area.

“Investigators found drug-making ingredients and equipment inside the house, along with a small amount of a clear substance that tested positive for crystal meth.

“Was it just for personal use or were they selling,” said Kenner Police Chief Steve Caraway. “I would probably think if they’re making their own use, they were probably trying to sell some of this drug.”

The teacher has been suspended from her teaching duties pending further investigation and it is believed that none of the drugs actually made it into the school.

The two men also arrested were 33 year old James Miller and 31 year old Gregory Brown.
