‘Teen Wolf’ Season 5 Spoilers: Stiles And Scott Break Lydia Out Of Eichen House In Episode 15 [Promo]

Teen Wolf Season 5 Episode 15, titled “Amplification,” will focus on Stiles’ (Dylan O’Brien) plan to break Lydia (Holland Roden) out of the Eichen House.

In the official synopsis, it was revealed that Stiles is determined to rescue Lydia after finding out that she is in danger. Scott (Tyler Posey) also vowed to do everything to get her out of the Eichen House.

“If we don’t do this, we lose Lydia. She’s gonna die in there tonight, and she might take a lot of innocent people with her,” Scott said in the promo video.

Things, however, may not go as planned. Turns out, Theo (Cody Christian) is not going to make things easy for the pack.

In the last Teen Wolf Season 5 episode, “The Sword and the Spirit,” Stiles visited Lydia and begged her to wake up.

“C’mon Lydia, you have to come back to us. There’s no way we’re getting through this without you.”

Stiles also noticed that part of Lydia’s head was shaved but her mother (Susan Walters) insisted that it was for electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). Although Stiles had his doubts, he decided to leave after Lydia’s mom threatened to ban him from the facility.

As the Desert Wolf attempted to kill Malia (Shelley Hennig) to get his powers back, Lydia started to wake up. She realized that her premonition is coming true and needed to save her friends. She broke the bulletproof glass using her voice and began her escape. She, however, was soon caught by the guards, who dragged her back to Eichen.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Teen Wolf showrunner Jeff Davis revealed that season 5B will focus on Lydia and her discovering her own strengths, which will ultimately save the pack. Davis, however, refused to reveal if Scott, Stiles and the rest of the group will be successful in breaking Lydia out of the Eichen house.

“Her finding her power is critical to the season. That’s why we decided to make episodes 15 and 16 a two-part episode around her, which is the breaking-Lydia-out-of-Eichen episode,” Davis explained.

In a separate interview, the Teen Wolf producer also revealed that the Dread Doctors’ identities will be revealed by the end of Season 5. He shared their makeup artists did a “phenomenal job” on what lies behind the surgeons’ mask.

Jeff Davis added that as Teen Wolf Season 5 comes to an end, several questions will be answered, including the fate of all its characters.

“We’ve been treating the 20 episodes as one storyline, so this thing will wrap up in 520. You’ll know the fate of the Dread Doctors, you’ll know the fate of all of our characters, and how it leads into season 6,” Davis said.

During Teen Wolf’s yearly panel at the San Diego Comic-Con in July, the cast confirmed that MTV has renewed the show for another season. Back then, there were only three episodes in for Season 5, which goes to show that the network producers had high hopes for the show.

According to Cinemablend, Teen Wolf experienced a drop in ratings in their fifth year. The show, however, remained a strong performer for both network and cable TV, bringing in 1.5 million viewers on average.

Speaking to Karen and Natalie of Not Another Teen Wolf podcast, Linden Ashby, who plays Sheriff Stilinski in the MTV series, shared that season 6 is going to be “phenomenal.”

Ashby hinted that they will deviate from the “scary stuff” and explore “very adult” themes in the coming season of Teen Wolf.

“It’s really dealing with scary, scary stuff, but not necessarily monster scary stuff [It’s] complex. And I’m just sitting here with a big grin on my face because it’s just going to be f**king good.”

Teen Wolf Season 5 airs Tuesdays on MTV.
