Louis Tomlinson And Briana Jungwirth Protect Freddie Reign’s Name, Larry Stylinson Shippers Speculate About Freddieismyqueen

Louis Tomlinson and Briana Jungwirth likely anticipated all the Freddie Reign-inspired social media accounts that would pop up all over the Internet after they announced their son’s name, and they decided to do what they could to protect their son’s moniker from being connected to questionable content or held for ransom. However, Louis and Briana couldn’t stop Larry Stylinson shippers from using the name to concoct a new conspiracy theory about Louis being secretly gay.

According to TMZ, Briana Jungwirth’s family snapped up the FreddieTomlinson.com web domain mere minutes after Louis Tomlinson and Briana Jungwirth shared their baby’s name with the world. Freddie Reign Tomlinson was born on January 21, but his parents didn’t announce what they had decided to call him until January 27. As soon as they announced his name, Twitter was flooded with Freddie Tommos who claimed they had ties to Louis and Briana.

Briana Jungwirth’s family reportedly purchased FreddieTomlinson.com to “protect the kid’s best interests and block any squatters,” and they also prevented a certain faction of the One Direction fan base from turning the domain into another website used to perpetuate the myth that Louis Tomlinson is involved in a secret gay relationship with Harry Styles. The fandom refers to these conspiracy theorists as “Larries,” because they’ve dubbed their favorite fictional couple “Larry Stylinson.”

Louis and Briana’s baby name choice really got the Larries worked up because of a popular YouTube page. Larries like to create video compilations of “evidence” that Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are gay lovers, and some of the most-watched Larry videos are created by a YouTuber with the user name Freddieismyqueen. The video below has over 3 million views.

Many One Direction fans on Twitter immediately thought of the Freddieismyqueen videos after Louis Tomlinson announced his baby’s name, and some of them claimed that Freddie’s name is a reference to the YouTube videos. A few of the Freddie Tomlinson Twitter accounts even tweeted about Freddieismyqueen.

It’s a good thing Louis Tomlinson and Briana Jungwirth made sure that they secured the FreddieTomlinson.com domain name; if they hadn’t, one of these Larry conspiracy theorists could have turned it into a Larry Stylinson fan fiction website.

Louis and Briana haven’t revealed why they chose the name Freddie Reign, but the Daily Mail reports that the parents picked the moniker together. A source revealed that they spent a “few days” discussing options before they settled on a name. According to TMZ, another source claimed that Louis chose the name Freddie because he “just liked the ring of it,” and Briana picked the name Reign because she “wanted something earthy, but Rain sounded too girly.” Meanwhile, some fans are speculating that the new parents chose the name Freddie Reign because they wanted to pay homage to rock ‘n’ roll royalty, Queen frontman Freddie Mercury.

Briana and Louis are reportedly on good terms, and the Sun reports that they’re currently sharing a rental in Calabasas, California. This allows both of them to spend plenty of time with their new son. However, they aren’t spending all of that time together. On Friday, Briana and her mom were spotted taking Freddie on a trip while Louis ran errands. Louis and Briana reportedly don’t plan on sharing an abode for much longer, and this news will likely relieve Louis Tomlinson’s girlfriend, Danielle Campbell.

Speaking of The Originals actress, Seventeen reports that Danielle Campbell recently did something to prove that she’s perfectly okay with dating a man who just welcomed a baby with another woman. Danielle’s action was simple, but it spoke volumes: She simply liked Louis Tomlinson’s photo with baby Freddie.

Today is Danielle Campbell’s 21st birthday, but there’s no word on whether Louis Tomlinson has any big plans for his girlfriend. The actress revealed that she’s already been celebrating with her gal pals, and it looks like she’s definitely excited about being able to legally drink alcohol—she shared an Instagram photo of a bathtub full of booze.
