[Rumor] Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem Expecting Second Child

It looks like a congratulations may be in order for everyone’s favorite Latin couple. It is said that Penelope Cruz and husband Javier Bardem are expecting their second child together.

The Vicky Christina Barcelona actress, Penelope, already has a 17-month-old son named Leonardo with husband and Academy Award winner Javier Bardem. According to a Spanish televised program, Espejo Publico, Cruz is expecting her second child with Bardem.

According to the sources reporting, who also happen to be close to Penelope and Javier, claim that Cruz is three months pregnant. An additional source who is close with Penelope Cruz on the set of a film in Madrid is also validating these claims as well.

Penelope Cruz, who won an Academy Award for Vicky ChristinaBarcelona, which is a film that started her relationship with Bardem, said recently that she’s absolutely thrilled being a housewife and taking on less work in order to spend more time with her family. “I’m a housewife and it’s beautiful, the best thing in the world. I know how to cook and it’s important to me to make fresh food every day. I don’t do crazy diets, just the good Mediterranean food that I love because it’s important to eat well.”

Cruz has also admitted that while motherhood may be stressful for others, she’s found the whole process calming saying that she “worried less” because now as a mother and as a wife, Penelope sees herself as “always loved.”

The actress went on to explain the calming feeling of motherhood, stating, “For me, having my son means I worry less. I’ve always loved to worry – ever since I was a little girl people would tell me I worry too much. But these days I really have to pick my subjects to worry about because there are only so many hours in the day.”
