Russell Wilson And Ciara Have A Love Fest On Social Media, Wilson Plagiarizes Compliments

Russell Wilson has decided to show his girlfriend Ciara that he appreciates her. Like most couples who are in the honeymoon phase of their relationship, Wilson has decided to take to social media to express his love for the singer.

That said, Billboard associate editor Natalie Weiner put the Seattle Seahawks football player on blast when she caught Wilson plagiarizing his comments for Ciara during his love fest. According to the editor, Russell was simply googling his captions. It’s not unusual for Instagram users to Google images with quotes to express their feelings, but rarely do we ever hear about people using Google for their captions.

The Billboard editor has been having fun with this, and why wouldn’t she?

Wilson was able to take the joke and even poked some fun at himself.

Even though his compliments weren’t his own words, Wilson and Ciara have been openly lovey dovey about each other in public in the past. In September 2015, Ciara spoke about wanting a future with boyfriend Wilson. At the time, she told E! about progressing in her relationship. When asked if they discussed having kids, she answered as follows.

“I definitely do, yes. We discuss a lot of things. A lot of good things!”

Wilson has met Ciara’s son, Future Zahir Wilburn, whom she had with rapper Future. Ciara said of Wilson getting along with Future, “You know what, he is just an amazing guy. Honestly, him being in my life is really sweet, ya know, so I am very, very — life is pretty good, I can say that.”

Ciara and Russell Wilson very publicly spoke about their commitment to each other, and how they will abstain from having sex until marriage. Of the moment they made that decision, Wilson made the following statement.

“She was on tour, she was traveling, and I was looking at her in the mirror… and she was sitting there and God spoke to me and said ‘I need you to lead her, and so I told her right then and there, what would you do if we took all that extra stuff off the table, and did it Jesus’ way?”

He continued, “I ain’t gonna lie to ya’ll now, I need you to pray for us. If there’s a 10, she’s a 15. So I need ya’ll to pray for me.”

As for Future, Ciara’s ex, he told The Breakfast Club that he’s not bitter about the end of their relationship, and that he wants nothing but happiness for the mother of his child. That said, he wasn’t without criticisms. He didn’t exactly agree that it was appropriate for Ciara to introduce their son to her boyfriend.

“You don’t even bring a man around your son. You know this dude for a few months and you’re bringing him around your kid? Who does that? Nobody does that.”
