Shaquille O’Neal Series Gets Greenlight From TruTV

A new Shaquille O’Neal series has just received the greenlight from TruTV.

In his post-NBA life, Shaq has become a fanatical Youtube user. The 7 foot 1 inch former basketball player frequently posts videos of himself getting haircuts, singing with puppets, or pulling pranks. Now he’s putting his entertainment skills to work.

Upload With Shaquille O’Neal has received a 10 episode order.

According to the Associated Press, the new Shaq series will feature the big man as he shares his favorite online videos (as well as a few of his own.) So basically, the show will be like Tosh.0. Except Shaq’s show will feature the big man himself, and hopefully, less rape jokes.

Shaq will be joined by comics Gary Owen (Think Like A Man) and Godfrey (The Mr. men Show). Special guests will also be dropping by the show.

Marc Juris, executive vice president and chief operating officer of truTV, said:

“Shaquille O’Neal has such a great personality, and he really has a lot of fun with the format and the material in this new truTV series. We’re really excited to be working with Shaq and the outstanding production team. This show is going to be a great fit with truTV’s comedic shows like Impractical Jokers and the upcoming Killer Karaoke.”

Shaq added:

“I’ve been a fan of truTV for a long time and I look forward to working with my good friends Gary Owen and Godfrey. I’ve always tried to entertain people and I know this show will deliver big laughs.”
