Louis Tomlinson Shows Pride For Baby Freddie Reign Days After His Birth

For days, fans have been speculating about Louis Tomlinson’s baby name. Some of the monikers were Sydney Rain, Jacob, and Wilson Oliver. In an attempt to bring fun to the guessing game, Conchobar was even added to the growing list.

Nonetheless, the proud father proved none of the guesses were correct when he shared a photo of him carrying his firstborn, Freddie Reign.

It is believed that the One Direction member will rent a house in Los Angeles to be close to Freddie for the next six months. The “History” crooner has been visiting Freddie every day since he was born. After sharing the first photo of his son, Tomlinson immediately thanked fans for their heartfelt messages.

Despite previous claims that the singer is renting a multi-million pound pad for former flame Briana Jungwirth and their son, TMZ reports that the home is much more modest. As per the publication, the property is in Calabasas and has three bedrooms. Jungwirth is reportedly paying for the furniture.

Baby Freddie will have plenty of time with Tomlinson now that One Direction’s hiatus has commenced. The band is expected to reunite after 18 months of break. An insider previously told Hollywood Life that the “No Control” singer would indeed use his time to focus on raising his baby.

“While he’s away from the spotlight, Louis wants to focus on being a dad. He will put all career plans on hold for now to concentrate on raising his child with Briana.”

While Tomlinson and Jungwirth are not dating, Tomlinson plans to support the stylist in any way he can. A source told Daily Mail that the Doncaster-born singer is excited to become a hands-on father.

“Although they’re not romantically involved, Louis thinks Briana is a great woman and will be a fabulous mother. Louis has been helping Briana financially and is prepared to get stuck in with all the tasks that caring for a baby demands.”

News about Jungwirth’s pregnancy emerged last July. Tomlinson was photographed with her a couple of times following the end of his nearly four-year relationship with Manchester-based Eleanor Calder. Tomlinson is now dating The Originals actress Danielle Campbell, and for the past few weeks, the two have been spotted in London, France, and in Campbell’s hometown, Chicago.

Tomlinson remained silent for most parts of Jungwirth’s pregnancy, but people close to him confirmed the news. The band’s mentor Simon Cowell previously told Tomlinson to “man up” because he’s in a fortunate position to take care of the baby. Liam Payne also told Magic Radio’s Jo Parkerson that his pal was taking everything in stride.

“Well, obviously I was a bit shocked, but he’s taken super well to it. [Louis is] very excited with what’s going on with him at the moment and I feel that stuff like that happens sometimes. He’s taking it very seriously.”

Tomlinson is allegedly set to pay £10,000 ($14,000) a month in child support until Freddie turns 18. More than half of the money is reportedly allotted for the Calabasas house’s rent. The remaining will then be used for the baby’s necessities such as clothes and toys.

However, the seemingly generous amount is allegedly not enough for Jungwirth’s mother, Tammi Clark. As for Jungwirth, TMZ reports that she is already happy with the financial arrangement and won’t use Freddie as a “meal ticket.”
