Kaley Cuoco Shows Her Love For ‘Bachelor’ Ben Higgins In A Unique Way
It’s no secret Kaley Cuoco is a huge fan of The Bachelor. Earlier this month, the Big Bang Theory star went public with her disappointment that she couldn’t get through when she tried to call in to Bachelor Live. She was invited to appear by Ben Higgins himself and Skyped in during the program the following week to ask the question, “Are you in love?”
Well, as Entertainment Tonight reported, Higgins chose not to answer — but if Higgins is still single at the end of the The Bachelor, he might want to look Kaley up. Not only did the recently divorced Cuoco call Higgins “the sweetest Bachelor ever,” but she also took to Instagram on Monday to show off her love with a little custom-made Bachelor style: leggings adorned with Higgins’ face.
People noted Cuoco wasn’t the only celebrity going all-out with Bachelor attire; Allison Williams got a custom snuggie after she appeared on Bachelor Live, and instead of throwing it in to the back of her closet, she posted a selfie of her wearing it to a viewing party.
If Kaley is a big Bachelor fan, it may be for good reason — she’s good friends with former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky, who was on hand when Kaley talked to Ben over Skype. She laughed when her Big Bang Theory co-star Simon Helberg teased her in front of the Entertainment Tonight cameras for making a big deal about not getting through on the Bachelor Live phone lines, and promising to try earnestly next episode — before Higgins personally invited her on, of course.
Even if Higgins doesn’t find love on The Bachelor — or does, only to have his relationship fall apart a few months later — he may not be able to start things up with Cuoco. Although Kaley announced her split from Ryan Sweeting last fall, and shut down rumors she’d gotten back together with her Big Bang Theory co-star Johnny Galecki as recently as a few weeks ago, she may have a new love.
Us Weekly reported in mid-December, 2015, that Cuoco, 30, is dating Arrow star Paul Blackthorne, 46. She Instagrammed in support of Blackthorne’s conservation charity just two days after she obliterated her wedding date tattoo. The roman numerals on the back of her neck that had marked her New Year’s Eve 2013 nuptials to Sweeting are now covered up by a moth. An unnamed “insider” said Kaley was “excited” about the relationship, although it was still new.
Higgins, meanwhile, has continued on his Bachelor journey. The man who started off the season rejecting an advance from Lace, saying he did not want to get physical too early with the women, recently revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that he did come around to do some lip-locking with the contestants. As a conservative person, who has said he looks up to former Bachelor Sean Lowe, the experience was unsettling.
“It does kind of mess with your mind a little bit. It makes you feel really weird. It’s not something I want to get used to.”
That attitude sets him apart from the last Bachelor, Chris Soules, who was known as a serial kisser. He told E! News last week he doesn’t regret becoming physical so quickly and with so many women, because he was engaged in the process to find his wife and “part of being in a relationship with someone is kissing.”
Fans, including Kaley Cuoco, can tune in for Ben Higgins’ Bachelor journey Monday nights at 8 p.m. on ABC. The Big Bang Theory airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. on CBS.
