George Clooney Speaks On Pregnancy Rumors As Divorce Whispers Continue And Amal Breaks Down

George Clooney is one of those actors that honestly tries to stay out of the spotlight. Well, he enjoys the movie spotlight, but not the drama-filled spotlight. Still, the media and public loves hearing rumors about him and his wife, Amal Clooney, and wondering if they’re true or not. Well, the divorce rumors persist, but now George Clooney has addressed the new pregnancy rumors flying around about him and Amal.

Clooney was attending the Good Money Gala in Amsterdam recently and while on media row, he was of course, making the rounds. As reported by AOL, George Clooney was asked about the rumor that Amal was pregnant and the couple was going to have a child.

In his own true fashion, the 54-year-old actor laughed, put a big smile on his face, and just looked at the ground for a second. Then, he decided to answer in an incredibly polite and delicate manner that was filled with subtle humor.

“No. But I like that you started that rumor.”

So, Amal Clooney isn’t pregnant and the couple doesn’t have a child on the way. George said his wife has a very busy schedule working nights as a human rights lawyer and stated that she has actually had a very “successful week.”

“The president of the Maldives was let out of prison, because of a lot of the hard work that she was doing. She’s had a very good week.”

George Clooney married Amal Alamuddin in 2014, and the couple has been happy and doing well since then. Still, they’ve fallen victim to countless rumors of their impending divorce that simply hasn’t happened and quite honestly, may never take place.

Youth Health Mag reports that the rumors have ranged from the two not getting along to Amal not being fond of George’s friends. One rumor going around stated that Amal Clooney was not too keen on two of her husband George’s closest friends – Rande Gerger and his wife, Cindy Crawford.

Another rumor going around in mid-2015 was that George and Amal Clooney were having a feud, of sorts, with Angelina Jolie and her husband, Brad Pitt. Radar Online had reported that there was some “catfighting” going on and that George and Brad were actually “at each other’s throats.”

All of this reportedly had to do with a pollution issue in an Ecuadorean jungle that George Clooney wanted to work on, but Brad Pitt came in and grabbed it. George reportedly couldn’t forgive him and that was that.

Next up, Classicalite reported that Ryan Gosling had an issue with George Clooney’s on-set persona and never wanted to work him. Rumor had it that Gosling had done everything imaginable in recent years to avoid working with Clooney, if at all possible.

Amal Clooney has gone through a lot, reportedly, in her few years relationship with now husband, George Clooney. All of these so-called feuds are a big reason that the divorce rumors persist because people want to believe that Amal and George are going to break-up as its too much for her to take.

Well, the Parent Herald still insists that there are problems between the two and it all apparently falls on Amal. Rumor has it that she isn’t fond of the way the media portrays her and she’s rather sick of it. People see her as controlling or acting like a diva when out with George, but it’s still hard to figure out where any evidence of that comes from.

Some reports state that this reputation given to her by the media has her “crying and drinking like a fish.” There still isn’t much actual proof of this, and it usually has George and Amal Clooney laughing about it when it’s brought up to them.

When all is said and done, George Clooney and his wife, Amal Clooney, are not currently pregnant and a baby is not on the way. The divorce rumors are going to keep coming up for now, and probably a long time, but as long as the couple knows they are happy, then they’re happy.
