Miranda Lambert Plots Pregnancy & Songs To Get Revenge On Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani After ‘Sh**ty Year’
Miranda Lambert suffered in 2015 when her split from Blake Shelton went public. And while her 39-year-old country crooner ex seemed to have no problems rebounding to 46-year-old Gwen Stefani, Miranda struggled to renew her joy in life after the divorce. But now Lambert has a new boyfriend, Anderson East, and to get revenge on her ex, Miranda is planning on getting pregnant, claims a source cited by Hollywood Life.
At 32, Miranda wants to get pregnant as soon as possible. As to why that constitutes revenge? When Lambert and Blake were married, he wanted to have children. But at that time, Miranda was not yet ready to get pregnant. Now Lambert allegedly sees this as the opportunity to get back at her ex.
Although Miranda also has been using social media to publicize her romance with Anderson East, just posting pics of her handsome 27-year-old new beau apparently isn’t satisfying Lambert. In addition, Miranda has been sending texts to Shelton, thereby annoying Gwen.
As for music? Lambert also is penning breakup tunes. Is a new album about her split on the way? Miranda gave a hint recently on social media promising that she has a major announcement coming soon, reported Taste of Country.
At this point, it’s known that Lambert is working on her sixth studio album. That follow-up to Platinum is anticipated to provide more insights into her heartbreak over her divorce, with sorrowful singles akin to “Over You.”
But it’s not all going to be poignant songs when it comes to Miranda’s output. Look for revenge songs from Lambert as well, revealed a source quoted by Hollywood Life.
“Miranda [is] trying to intimidate Gwen. She’s doing everything she can to get into her head,” said the source. “[Lambert has] been in the studio writing and recording some powerful breakup songs and there’s no way you won’t know who or what Miranda is singing about.”
One song even attacks Stefani directly, according to that same insider, who says that the lyrics tell the tale of an ex who has discovered a “Hollywood replacement.” Ouch.
If this sounds as if Lambert is so focused on getting back at her ex and his girlfriend that she has no time for Anderson East, Miranda also is planning to include songs about her new beau on her new album. The insider also shared that Lambert has created songs telling how her hope that she would one day “Prince Charming and the white-picket fence” have been transformed from daydreams to reality.

But one new single from Shelton’s ex just might be written by someone other than Lambert, according to Country Weekly.
Miranda took to the stage for a Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars show at City Winery in Nashville recently, where Lambert debuted her new rendition of a poignant song called “Scars” authored by her pal and guitarist Scotty Wray. Blake’s ex credited her split with him and the resulting pain as inspiring her to finally do justice to the song, as well as to get matching tattoos with Wray.
“[Scotty and I] both had a really, really sh**ty year in 2015, and we have tattoos to prove it,” revealed Miranda. “I was never damaged enough to sing a song called ‘Scars.’ It’s something you have to sell and really feel and really live.”
Lambert begins her “Keeper of the Flame Tour” on March 7 at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Audience members will also get to enjoy Kip Moore and Brothers Osborne, her special guests. In addition, Miranda will be teaming up with Kenny Chesney for some of his “Spread The Love Tour” dates in summer 2016.
