Miley Cyrus Gets A New Tattoo, Has Teddy Roosevelt Quote Inked On Arm

Miley Cyrus just got a new tattoo. The former Disney star, who was recently engaged to Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth, had a Teddy Roosevelt quote inked on her left forearm.

According to the Daily Mail, the tattoo reads:

“So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat.”

The quote comes from a speech that Roosevelt made at the Sorbonne, Paris, on April 23rd 1910. In his speech, Roosevelt urges people not to be spectators to life, but instead, to be “the man in the arena.

Roosevelt said:

“It is not the critic who counts: not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done better.
