Kathryn Edwards On Faye Resnick’s Shady Past: ‘I Read Her Wikipedia Page’

Kathryn Edwards is one of the new housewives on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but she’s not coming in without a grudge. As it turns out, Edwards does have a beef with Faye Resnick, a friend of the housewives for years. Of course, Faye knows how to ruffle feathers, as she’s caused drama with other co-stars, including Brandi Glanville.

While Brandi was upset with how Faye was speaking about her, Kathryn Edwards has a much bigger problem. Resnick had discussed Edwards in a book she had written about the OJ Simpsons murder case, and Kathryn wasn’t happy about the mention in the book. She confronted Faye during Kyle Richards’ BBQ, and now, Kathryn is sharing her honest feelings about the meeting.

According to a new Bravo report, Kathryn Edwards believes that her co-star is up to no good. In fact, she doesn’t think that Faye is a good person, and she wasn’t expecting to get anything back from her — not even an apology.

“OK…so lets cut to the chase…here it is…this is what you really want to know. My reaction to Faye was this: If she would have been more reticent with her feelings, I would have spoken differently to her, but from the moment we sat down at the table, Faye’s body language, much like Rinna’s description, was desperately trying not to engage with me. I saw her drinking shots before we sat down, and she was sheepish from the start,” Kathryn Edwards reveals in her blog, sharing, “She had an ignominious posture, and I knew she didn’t want to go there. I thought about it…my wheels were turning, and I was playing it out in my head on fast forward.”

It does seem cowardly to write about someone in a book and then deny any chance of talking about it — or even issuing an apology. As many have pointed out, Kathryn Edwards had never met Kyle’s friend before she wrote about Kathryn in her book. During The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it was brought up that Faye didn’t know Edwards, but she still wrote about her in the controversial book.

“As I said in this episode, I didn’t go there looking for a fight, but if she wanted one, she was sure going to get it. Faye has a sordid past. I read her Wikipedia page (she should pay someone to clean that up), and she doesn’t look like the face of truth and virtue. It would have been easy to touch on a few things to knock her down to size, but I am a lady, and engaging at Kyle’s with such an intense subject would have ruined the dinner party–I mean the BBQ,” Kathryn Edwards reveals, sharing that she was very much ready to fight.

Of course, Edwards may have known that she had the upper hand in this argument. Earlier during the episode, Kyle Richards’ friend told her that she didn’t want to be confronted about her decision to include Kathryn in her book. And this is something that bothers Edwards, as she never met Resnick before.

“The fact that she had never met me, and wrote that I knew about it and I turned a cheek to it, is disgusting. She capitalized on a tragedy. She wrote a book about it, she posed for Playboy, I’m sure she loved the limelight, I mean come on, she was having her 15 minutes,” Kathryn Edwards revealed, according to the Daily Mail.

What do you think about Kathryn Edwards being included in a book without ever meeting the author? Do you think her anger is justified?
