Lamar Odom’s Drug Overdose To Air On ‘KUWTK’ As Khloe Kardashian Leases Him A New Home

Lamar Odom’s health crisis will soon be featured as a story line on Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 11. On January 26, Life & Style shared a sneak peek at the remaining episodes of the season, and during the clip, Khloe Kardashian and her family are seen dealing with the shocking news of Lamar Odom’s drug overdose.

“Khloe has been spending every second with [Lamar Odom],” Kourtney Kardashian explains.

“I think hearing our voices and having family around might make a difference,” Kris Jenner then says.

On October 13, Lamar Odom was found unconscious at a legal brothel in Las Vegas, where the former professional athlete had been partying with a number of women. Upon discovering his body, which reportedly had mucus flowing out of his mouth and nose, 911 was called, and Lamar Odom was taken to a hospital in the area, where he remained in a coma for three days.

In the days that followed Lamar Odom’s hospitalization, several members of his family, including his two children, Destiny Odom and Lamar Odom Jr., his estranged wife, Khloe, her sister, Kim Kardashian, and mother, Jenner, and his former girlfriend, Liza Morales, arrived on scene.

Although Lamar Odom’s prognosis wasn’t good upon arrival, he made major strides in the days after waking up from his coma and was transferred to Los Angeles, where he remained for three months.

At the time of his hospitalization, Lamar Odom had been split from wife Khloe Kardashian for over two years, but that didn’t stop her from immediately boarding a private jet when she learned of his condition. In fact, Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian flew with Khloe on the plane and stayed with her until Lamar Odom woke up.

In addition to Lamar Odom’s medical ordeal being featured on Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 11, he is expected to remain close to the family as Khloe recently rented him a home near her Calabasas, California, house in an effort to keep him close to her and the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner family.

“Khloe rented [Lamar Odom] a place inside her gated community to keep him close,” an insider told Hollywood Life on January 26. “With Khloe still involved with James Harden, she did not want Lamar staying at her place and interfering with that relationship. When [Lamar Odom] first got out of the hospital Khloe wanted him close by her and kept him in her home but has since moved him to a big house in her neighborhood.”

Prior to Lamar Odom’s hospitalization, Khloe Kardashian began dating James Harden, a player for the Houston Rockets. and while their relationship was understandably sidelined when Lamar Odom overdosed, they have made it through the storm, and Harden is thrilled to hear that Lamar Odom won’t be living with Kardashian at her house.

“James is happy about the arrangement, but [Lamar Odom] is pissed,” a second source told Hollywood Life. “He didn’t want to move from underneath her roof. He loved the type of around-the-clock care she gave him. He loved the little things about living with Khloe – smelling her fragrances, her cooking and watching television with her. He thought he was winning her back. He felt like the marriage was on the mend. But now, he feels bad and thinks he’s loosing Khloe.”
