Chris Soules Jokes About Ben Higgins Being His Date, Says He’s Looking For Love Again

Chris Soules apparently had to settle for Ben Higgins as his date. On Monday night, as the latest The Bachelor episode aired, Chris tweeted a photo of himself holding hands with Ben. Chris is not only holding onto Ben’s hand but is actually kissing it. Both men are dressed up in suits. Chris captioned the photo “Bachelor date night.”

Chris would rather have a real date. Prior to posting the photo, Chris admitted that he’s looking for love again.

The photo of Chris Soules and Ben Higgins may have been taken at Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert’s wedding. As Us Weekly reported, Jade and Tanner were married at the St. Regis Resort Monarch Beach in Dana Point, California, on Sunday. Many of Jade and Tanner’s fellow Bachelor and Bachelorette alums were in attendance, including Chris, Ben, Ali Fedotowsky, Ryan and Trista Sutter, Carly Waddell, Andi Dorfman, and Nick Viall. Sources provided Us Weekly with some details on the wedding.

“Jade and Tanner were married under a gazebo covered with greenery and tree branches… Jade and Tanner looked ecstatic and so happy as they recited their vows. Jade was totally focused on Tanner and listening to every word he said. They were both overcome with emotion and beaming. When they were officially married, all the guests cheered and hollered and they shared a long passionate kiss.”

People reported that Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth were also at the wedding. The wedding was filmed by ABC and will air as part of the network’s The Bachelor At 20: A Celebration of Love special on Sunday, February 14 at p.m. 8:00 ET. A save-the-date card for the special advertises that it will feature “your favorite Bachelors and Bachelorettes” and “the union of Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert,” “plus surprise musical performances.”

Jade was actually the fourth runner-up on Chris’ season of The Bachelor. After Chris met Jade’s family in her hometown, Jade revealed to Chris that she once posed nude for Playboy and even showed him the photos. After going through all the hometown dates, Chris sent Jade home. He maintained in his blog that his decision to send Jade home had nothing to do with her nude photos.

After sending Kaitlyn Bristowe and Becca Tilley home, Chris got engaged to Whitney Bischoff. Unfortunately, Chris’ engagement to Whitney was short-lived. The two announced their separation about two months after their engagement aired. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Whitney recently revealed that she has found love again.

Kaitlyn went on to star on The Bachelorette, where she met and got engaged to Shawn Booth. Tanner was one of the men who competed unsuccessfully for Kaitlyn.

Both Jade and Tanner then went on the spin-off Bachelor of Paradise. They had an immediate attraction to one another and quickly coupled up. While most of the other contestants struggled to find a love connection, Jade and Tanner remained committed to one another and got engaged on the season finale episode.

Ben, who was Kaitlyn’s third runner-up, went on to star on The Bachelor. Interestingly enough, Chris’ runner-up, Becca, returned to the show in a bid for Ben. On the latest episode that aired on Monday night, Becca enjoyed a one-on-one date with Ben in Las Vegas. She admitted to Ben that during her time with Chris, she closed herself off because she was afraid to get hurt. She vowed to open herself up more.

Chris Soules is watching Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor featuring Becca Tilley. Two weeks ago, Chris tweeted about the hardships of rose ceremonies.

Last week, Chris even joked about the show reusing a date card from Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette.
