‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Daryl Dixon To Die In Season 6 Finale?

The Walking Dead spoilers for the remainder of Season 6 are running wild. Everyone wants to know who will be the next to die, and who will be the first victim of Negan when we finally meet him in the season finale. Could fan favorite character Daryl Dixon be at risk?

While The Walking Dead‘s motto has always been that no character is safe from death, they’ve proven it by killing off big characters such as Shane, Lori, Dale, T-Dogg, Tyreese, Beth, and others. With the high anticipated Season 6 finale in the near future and the arrival of the most despicable villain in the Walking Dead universe, Negan, coming, fans are scared for the lives of their favorite characters, Daryl Dixon included.

According to BitBag, the first half of The Walking Dead Season 6 was a bit more tame than fans are used to with no major characters, expect for Deanna in the mid-season finale, biting the dust. However, some believe that the first 8 episodes were just the calm before the storm, and that the rest of the season is going to be a crazy, wild ride for Rick and his group of survivors.

The mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead, which airs on February 14, is set to be a bloodbath, with a lot of characters’ lives in danger, and it’s only fair to assume that more than one life will be lost, which rumors that Jessie, her two sons, and even Carl’s lives are at high risk. From there, fans will meet The Saviors, members of the group that is lead by Negan, and Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham will all be in the thick of their madness. Leaked footage of Negan in the finale has been seen and it shows the character, played by Jeffery Dean Morgan, raising his weapon of choice, a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, whom he’s named Lucille, and delivering a crushing blow to kill one of the characters, but who?

In The Walking Dead comic book series, it is Glenn who suffers his death at the hands of Negan and Lucille, but fans aren’t quite expecting that as much anymore after the first half of the season was mainly focused on worrying about whether Glenn was alive or dead after he and Nicholas got trapped in a huge herd. After it was revealed that Glenn was alive, fans began to speculate about why the writers would do that if they were just going to turn around and kill off Glenn. It doesn’t make much sense.

So now, that consensus among the Walking Dead fans seems to be that the TV series will swap out Glenn and give another character his comic book death, as they have in the past with Hershel and Tyreese. This means that another main character’s life is in huge jeopardy, and some believe it may actually be Daryl Dixon, who is arguably the most popular character among viewers. Killing him would be a huge blow to fans, as well as Rick and his group. However, other names have been mentioned in the rumors as well. Characters such as Abraham, Morgan, Michonne, and Maggie are all on the possible hit list, and any of them dying would be intense for viewers to watch.

No matter what happens, it’s safe to say that The Walking Dead Season 6 is going to be crazy, and will definitely end with a huge cliffhanger that fans will totally freak out about, leaving them hanging until the end of the year to find out what happens.
