Will Kenya Moore Do Just About Anything To Stay On ‘The Real Housewives’?

Kenya Moore did everything she possibly could to take over the top spot when she was filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta with NeNe Leakes. It was clear that NeNe felt she was the queen of the show, as she was the only original housewife on the show. But Kenya was ready to do just about anything to earn that top spot on the show, and drama was her best friend for several seasons.

But it sounds like Kenya Moore may have met her match in Kim Fields. While NeNe Leakes may have been easy to read, Moore has some trouble reading Kim. Even though Fields appears to be down to earth and family-focused, it sounds like some digs are being thrown around. And Moore isn’t about to let Kim steal her thunder.

According to a new Radar Online report, Kenya Moore fought back on Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta after being invited to a makeup-free brunch at Kim’s home. Fields had one rule: no makeup. But some of the ladies ignored the message, and Kenya Moore decided to question her co-star’s thoughts about natural beauty. When Kim asked the ladies to write a poem about natural beauty, Moore brought the drama.

“Where does the natural beauty end. Because you’ve had two boob jobs and you’re wearing a wig. Is that a part of your poem?” Kenya questioned in a confessional interview, adding at the brunch, “I think that makeup has always been part of self expression. Back in the day, to the Egyptians or the Grecians, we adorned ourselves with clay and crayon.”

While the new housewife may have had good intentions with her makeup-free brunch, several of the ladies didn’t think that she was right. Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Stewart added that they would never leave the home without makeup, just in case they were caught by the paparazzi.

“On behalf of the president of the smoky eye foundation, I don’t think anybody is just walking around the house everyday with makeup on. But if I’m coming out in public, you’ve got to make sure you look good,” Cynthia revealed in support of Kenya’s comments, with Porsha adding, “You never know when somebody is going to want your picture.”

Even though some of the ladies didn’t take the brunch too seriously, Moore had some previous beef with Fields. And rather than letting it go, Moore decided to bring it up. Kenya kept questioning her co-star about this beauty brunch, which led to them arguing once again.

“I appreciate you inviting me here and I was happy to come. But when I listened to it and you said that we needed to be reminded that makeup is to enhance our beauty, I did feel like that was a bit of a jab or an insult. I did take umbrage to that,” Kenya told her co-star as the brunch was coming to an end, adding that her co-star was “doing the dismissive thing again.”

Clearly, nothing got resolved between the ladies. It does sound like Kenya Moore is trying to do just about everything to keep her spot on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, even if it means belittling her co-stars. It seems like this argument was so minor, and yet Kenya made it a big deal.

Moore has already been accused of lying about her personal relationship with Walter Jackson, a man she was supposedly dating when she joined the show. But these days, according to the Daily Mail, she’s dating Matt Jordan. The two have been spending lots of quality time together, and he could be the one for her. Only time will tell if they are meant to be.

What do you think of Kenya Moore fighting with her co-stars? Do you think she’s trying to start drama so she can stay on the show?
