Jane Fonda Declares: ‘I’m Having Best Sex of My Life’

Who says sex should only be spoken candidly by young people? According to legendary actress Jane Fonda, she’s having “the best sex” of her life at 74 years old, and she’s not afraid who knows it.

Fonda, who spent most of her life trying to pick up the pieces to failed marriages is said to be pretty happy with her live in beau, Richard Perry, who she said she met almost 40 years ago. Since their meeting she has been married to French director Roger Vadim, a political activist Tom Hayden, and CNN founder and mogul Ted Turner. The reason why those marriages didn’t work out according to Jane was confidence.

Jane went on to recount what works for her partnership with music producer Perry, 70. “The only thing I have never known is true intimacy with a man. I absolutely wanted to discover that before dying. It has happened with Richard, I feel totally secure with him. Often, when we make love, I see him as he was 30 years ago.” She continues about her fulfilling new sex life saying, “At 74, I have never had such a fulfilling sex life. When I was young I had so many inhibitions – I didn’t know what I desired.”

Fonda told Britain’s Hello magazine that most of her own inadequacies came from her battered relationship with her father, Henry Fonda, and the problems that existed between them. “I don’t want to make a cheap analysis, but when you have, like I did, a father incapable of showing emotion, who spends his life telling you that one will love you if you aren’t perfect, it leaves scars.”

Jane Fonda and Richard Perry have been together since 2009, eight years after her last divorce from Ted Turner in 2001.
