Kylie Jenner Stuck In Gold $5,000 Cartier Bracelet For 4 Years, Now Wants The Bauble Off! [Video]

Kylie Jenner is literally locked up by her own wealth! The reality star needed a security guard to help unlock her $5,000 Cartier Love Bracelet, which has been stuck on Jenner’s arm for “years.” Unfortunately, even after the best Cartier could offer got involved, the bracelet still seems stuck for all eternity.

Although Kylie claims the bracelet has been locked on her wrist for “like, four years,” it’s probably only been there for a year, according to Refinery29. The gold bauble, which is meant to remain on the wearers wrist, comes with a tiny screwdriver should you opt to remove it. It’s not clear why Jenner could not remove the jewelry herself, but “no one at the store can get it off — not even the security,” Kylie lamented.

The bracelets are said to be modeled after chastity belts and are meant to be lifelong symbols of love, so they can only be removed by a special tool, which, apparently, does not work anyway. A frustrated Kylie shared the tragic event over Snapchat, giving fans a glimpse of the hilarious encounter at Cartier.

Kylie reportedly has six of the expensive bracelets, three in white gold and three in yellow gold, and they’re regularly seen dangling from her wrists at various events. Refinery 29 reports that during a May, 2015, interview with Teen Vogue, Jenner was even photographed wearing what Yahoo estimates is $50,000 worth of the Cartier love bangles.

Of course, Jenner could always opt to have the bracelet sawed of her wrist if she truly wanted to be free of it.

Although it’s not really clear why Jenner wanted the bauble removed, Kylie and her boyfriend Tyga have been plagued by cheating and breakup rumors. It seems things are finally over between Jenner and the rapper, who reportedly was caught cheating with Brazilian model Annalu Cardoso, whom he met on the set of his show, Kingin’ With Tyga.

Kylie has not been seen with her former leading man recently, and headed out to the Golden Globes with sister Kourtney on her arm. According to a Jenner insider, Tyga “is very careful” when he cheats, and tries to wait “until Kylie is out of the country” before hooking up with any other women. Rumors of cheating aren’t new, and Kylie Jenner has known for a while that Tyga wasn’t faithful. The teen recently shared that she used to regularly check his text messages to see who he was talking to.

The pair split briefly back in November, when Tyga was first accused of being unfaithful towards Jenner. At the time, the pair were rumored to have broken up on Tyga’s 26th birthday, although they were back together just as quickly, as Kylie revealed on an interview with Ellen DeGeneres.

Alas, the pair seem split permanently after Kylie freaked out about a lap dance Tyga received from another woman. According to Hollywood Life, a Jenner insider revealed that while Kylie and the rapper were “inseparable,” they have been “spending less and less time together.” In fact, Kylie has “told him to stay away!”

While they were joined at the hip before, now Tyga is “lucky if he gets to see her every other week,” especially now that the rapper has his own home after moving out of Kylie’s mansion. The insider confessed that “Kylie is happy without him… and that infuriates Tyga.”

In addition to going to the Golden Globes with Kourtney, Kylie has been relying on her girl gang to get her through the break up. Instead of spending time with Tyga, Jenner has been “going out to lunch and shopping with her squad.”

Kylie has also been talking to the rapper less, reportedly sending his calls to voicemail. In fact, Jenner now “rarely texts with him,” and her decision is easier since the rapper has reportedly been spending more and more time “at strip clubs like he did this week.”
