Joseph Duggar Turns 21, Michelle And Jim Bob Duggar Share Message To Their Son On Facebook

Joseph Duggar celebrated his 21st birthday on Wednesday, January 20, and to mark the special day, his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, posted a message to him on their official Facebook page.

“21 years ago on a cold January day God gave us a sweet mellow baby boy, named Joseph, to warm our hearts and bring great joy to our family with his bright smile,” reads the post, which also included a collage of photos featuring Joseph and his siblings.

The post continues by revealing that Joseph had completed a year of college at Crown Bible College but had returned home to work with his family and get his real estate license and CDL license, leaving fans wondering if he dropped out of school or if he is simply taking a break.

“Joseph just completed a year at Crown Bible College and is now back working with the Duggar family business doing construction. He now plans to acquire his real estate license and his CDL license,” the post continued. “We are so inspired by Joseph’s discipline of rising early to read his Bible and spend time alone with God in prayer.”

Joseph Duggar has recently made headlines for his rumored relationship with Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates, 17. According to a previous report by the Inquisitr, Joseph and Carlin were seen in a video taken by Joseph’s cousin Amy Duggar sitting very close to each other. In the video, which Amy has since deleted, Carlin was also seen wearing what is speculated to be Joseph’s baseball cap.

Although the video was eventually deleted, new evidence of a possible relationship between the pair surfaced after the New Year. Joe Donaldson, a friend of the Duggar family, shared a photo on Instagram that showed a group of friends hanging out together on New Year’s Day, and Carlin and Joseph both appear in the photo, proving that they are still spending time together.

“Love this group of friends! And It’s been great having the Bates family here to hangout with us for New Years!” Donaldson captioned the photo. “Not only did they stop by to see me at work… but brought me a sweet tea!… True friends… For realz!”

To add even more speculation to the rumored romance, the Bates’ family matriarch, Kelly Jo Bates, that a new relationship would be revealed during the upcoming season of the UPtv reality series Bringing Up Bates.

“With four married children and five other single children that will be 18 years or older, that leaves a whole lot of opportunity for change – whether by new romances, growing families, or other adventures!” Kelly Jo told the International Business Times during a recent interview. “I can honestly say that there is never a dull moment! We experience a whole lot of drama on a daily basis.”

“A big part of our life last year was focused on our daughter Michael’s wedding, which certainly was one of the most exciting and joyful occasions, and yet, as any parent knows, also one of the most tearful and hardest!” Kelly Jo continued. “It was a highlight for us for the season, as was each of our children’s weddings!”
