Ryan Paevey Of ‘General Hospital’ To Star In ‘Unleashing Mr. Darcy’ On Hallmark
Ryan Paevey of General Hospital is now starring in a new movie that will be coming to Hallmark this weekend. His new movie, Unleashing Mr. Darcy, is a must see film so make sure you set the DVR. Soap Opera Network shared about this new movie from Ryan Paevey. He is best-known by fans as Detective Nathan West on General Hospital, but this new role is one that fans are going to love. Ryan Paevey’s character is a fan favorite and his fans are going to immediately want to see this movie simply because Ryan is a part of it.
If you have seen the movie or read the book Pride & Prejudice, Ryan Paevey’s new movie is a modern day version of this movie. Elizabeth Scott (Cindy Busby) plays a young woman searching for direction in her life and she will end up heading to professionally show her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in a fancy New York dog show. Paevey will be playing a judge in this show and the two will meet there.
Of course, Ryan and Cindy’s characters don’t fall in love right off the bat. Ryan’s character will come across as very rude at first, but eventually he will grow on her. This is going to be a role that is a lot different than the one that he plays as Nathan West. Ryan must have had a lot of fun on the film because he went to Twitter and shared his thoughts not long ago.

“In this modern day spin on “Pride & Prejudice,” Elizabeth Scott (Cindy Busby), is fishing for direction in her life and gets the opportunity to professionally show her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in a fancy New York dog show. Dog show judge Donovan Darcy (Ryan Paevey) comes across as aristocratic and rude and a chain of misunderstandings unfold during the competition, complicating their mutual attraction. In true Jane Austen fashion, Elizabeth and Donovan begin to see the error of their ways and it turns out Mr. Darcy is far more kind and interesting than Elizabeth ever imagined.”
Ryan Paevey has done a great job on General Hospital as Nathan West. He was away from the show for a bit and now fans know that he had to take the time to film this movie as well, which could have kept him away. Ryan does a great job on soaps, but a lot of people who do this take the time to also move on and do other things in their career as well. The way it works out, they can just leave their character out of the soap for a short amount of time and nobody will really notice. Who knows where Ryan Paevey will end up showing up next.
