Robert Englund Hosting ‘A Nightmare On Elm Street’ Marathon On El Rey For Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day will be here before you realize it, and it would be in your best interest to get your gifts and cards now so you aren’t scrambling later. Then again, you may not like that sort of thing and wish to celebrate the holiday in a different fashion. The El Rey Network is giving you an option, and it’s with a 45-hour marathon of A Nightmare on Elm Street hosted by Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund.

Gizmodo is reporting that there will be a whopping 45 hours of nightmares and terror, and the master of dreams is going to host it. The fun is going to be called El Rey Network’s “Rip Your Heart Out” Valentine’s Day horror marathon, and it’s seriously going to be nothing but A Nightmare on Elm Street.

Here are the films that will appear, in order, during the marathon:

  • A Nightmare on Elm Street
  • A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge
  • A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors
  • A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master
  • A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child

Included in the marathon will be a number of episodes of Freddy’s Nightmares, the TV series which was on the air for two seasons from late 1988 until March 1990. Each episode was introduced by Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger.
