‘Fixer Upper’ Stars Chip And Joanna Gaines To Release Their First Book

Word has been spreading like wildfire among fans of Chip and Joanna Gaines about their new book coming out in the fall of 2016. According to the Magnolia Market website, their first book, The Magnolia Story, will give their huge fan base a closer look at how Chip and Joanna’s life story unfolded. The book will provide a lot of details beginning with how their childhoods (and their faith) helped to shape them into the people they are today. Fans will find out exactly how Chip and Joanna met and all about their courtship, marriage, and their very busy life today with their four children. Many new details will be revealed, including how Chip and Joanna’s relationship has remained so strong and steady through it all.

In regard to Chip and Joanna’s renovation skills, the book will also delve into their very first joint project, including the ups and downs of starting a home improvement business together. PR Newswire shared that Chip and Joanna’s book was written with the assistance of New York Times bestselling collaborator Mark Dagostino. Readers will learn about the famous Magnolia brand, and how the resulting outlets such as Magnolia Market, Magnolia Homes, and, of course, Chip and Joanna’s wildly popular television series Fixer Upper, all came about.

“I knew when I married Chip in 2003 that this life would be an adventure,” said Joanna Gaines. “Through all the ups and downs I never would have imagined we’d land here. What I do know is that I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to share it with.”

Fans love how Chip and Joanna Gaines interact with each other on Fixer Upper, from their playful banter to Chip’s hilarious antics. While being entertained by Chip, each week viewers watch the couple transform a run-down home for a family in the Waco, Texas, area into a beautiful home anyone would be proud to call their own. Joanna’s unique and impressive decorating style is emulated by fans everywhere. There are even Facebook groups dedicated to discussing and recreating various rooms she designs each week on the show. Not one to let the dust settle under her feet, Joanna plans to release a design book sometime in 2017. Whenever Joanna needs a specific piece of furniture to incorporate into her design, she often goes to see Clint, who besides being her friend is also an outstanding carpenter. She usually sketches out the design in what he calls The Book of Jo, which would be a great title for her new book, and fans would immediately recognize where the title came from. No matter what she ends up calling the book, it’s a fairly safe bet that both books will gain Chip and Joanna Gaines new fans and rapidly become bestsellers.
