Sara Ramirez Gets Married

When her television show is on air, Grey’s Anatomy actress Sara Ramirez plays the often troubled doctor Callie Torres. However actress Ramirez had a lot to celebrate over the Fourth of July weekend. Ramirez celebrated amongst family and friends, as she got hitched to longtime boyfriend Ryan Debolt.

According to the actresses’ representative who wrote in to Huffington Post, the couple got married in the midst of fire works on July 4th in an intimate ceremony in New York. Debolt, a business analyst and Ramirez were dating for years before the man of her dreams popped the question.

Debolt finally proposed to Sara last June as he got down on one knee in Paris where the pair were vacationing. Ramirez’ representative also confirmed to E! news about the ceremony stating, “On July 4, 2012, after a yearlong engagement, Sara Ramirez and Ryan Debolt were married in an intimate ceremony in New York. The private event was attended by close family and friends.”

The usually private actress had a few words about the troubles of finding a perfect love back in February, telling Latina magazine, the she “never quite found my best friend and my romantic relationship all rolled up in one”

Although Sara’s life seems to be one big happy fairy tale, her character on Grey’s Anatomy’s future hangs in the balance. Dr. Callie Torres’ true love Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) is still waiting to be rescued from a horrific plane crash that saw a few doctors from Seattle Mercy West Hospital stranded and in pretty poor shape. Here’s hoping Arizona Robbins survives.
