‘RHOBH’ Kyle Richards & Lisa Rinna’s Friendship Is Over? ‘She Was Not A Good Friend To Me’ [Video]

Kyle Richards appeared on last night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she was confronted with questions about the comments made by Lisa Rinna during the January 19 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

As viewers will call, Rinna was extremely vocal with her frustrations in Kim Richards’s multiple arrests, which followed an alcohol relapse, and referred to herself as Kim’s “worst nightmare.” Although Kyle Richards didn’t talk much about the issue with Rinna directly, she made it clear that the topic wasn’t something to rehash, and only explained her feels about Kim during conversations with her close friends, Bethenny Frankel and Faye Resnick. Kyle Richards also said that because she had genuine friendships with Frankel and Resnick, she felt more comfortable opening up.

Then, after watching the episode ahead of her appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Kyle Richards seemingly confirmed she and Rinna were no longer friends due to Rinna’s on-air comments about her sister.

After a viewer called in, pointing out Rinna’s “intense” feelings towards Kyle Richards’ sister, Kyle Richards admitted she was “offended” by Rinna, and slammed her long time friend for failing to have compassion.

“I was extremely offended,” Kyle Richards told the caller. “I think her comments were very unkind. I’ve tried to keep our relationship separate. She’s had issues with my sister, and my sister has had issues with her but I’ve tried to keep everything separate. But she’s making it very difficult.”

“Clearly, my sister was going through a hard time and she showed lack of compassion, and she was not a good friend to me by making comments like that. I’m not happy,” Kyle Richards added.

In early 2015, following production on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5, Kim suffered an alcohol relapse, and eventually ended up drunk at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where she was accused of public intoxication, resisting an officer, trespassing, and battery on an officer. Then, just months later, Kyle Richards’ sister was arrested for a second time after allegedly stealing more than $600 items, including toys, from a Target store in Van Nuys, California.

Following Kyle Richards’ sister’s troubles, Kim entered rehab at least a couple of times, and appears to have gotten clean in the months that followed. In fact, the reality star and mother of four will soon return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and is also expected to appear in another reality show on Lifetime, which will feature herself and her youngest daughter, Kimberly Jackson, as they attempt to mend their issues.

In a blog last month, Kyle Richards expressed her frustrations in the ongoing questions surrounding her sister and her sister’s sobriety.

“I am not my sister’s keeper and had no desire to discuss what was going on with her with two people that are not close to her or her friends. I love Eileen and Lisa, but it felt wrong. Plus it seemed they knew more than I did from looking at the internet. Watching Lisa Rinna speak against my sister Kim in her interview upset me. We all knew Kim was struggling, and it felt like she was kicking her when she was down. This is precisely why I didn’t want to discuss Kim with her at all.”
