‘Justice League’ Concept Art Gives First Looks At Cyborg And The Flash

In March, the long-awaited Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice film will finally hit theaters and begin a whole new era of comic book movies. It’s known that the other members of the Justice League will be appearing in the film and so far, the world has gotten looks at Wonder Woman and Aquaman, but not the other two members. Some new concept art has been released by Warner Bros. and it finally reveals the first looks at Cyborg and The Flash.

It’s no surprise that DC’s Holy Trinity was seen first, but there are others who will be appearing in the Justice League film that hits theaters on Nov. 17, 2017. Henry Cavill is Superman, Ben Affleck is Batman, and Gal Gadot is Wonder Woman, and they’ve gotten plenty of press.

A poster was released by Warner Bros. that showed Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, but not a ton on him just yet. There has been nothing on Ezra Miller as The Flash or Ray Fisher as Cyborg, but that has finally changed.

DC Films has a new Facebook page, and they’ve unveiled some concept art that puts the whole team together.

The title on the concept art has to do with the TV special called DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League which will air tonight at 9:30/8:30c on The CW.

Now, the team standing tall together looks good, but it does raise some interesting questions about the final line-up for the Justice League. There are six members together in this image with the Holy Trinity in the middle, but things are a bit uneven and there’s a reason for that.

SlashFilm made a good point of noticing that Green Lantern is nowhere to be seen. The superhero franchise is getting a reboot with Green Lantern Corps which is set for release on June 19, 2020. That may seem far away, but it’s only two-and-a-half months after the Cyborg stand-alone film on April 3, 2020.

That Aquaman poster mentioned above was released by director Zack Snyder and it had an interesting tagline written across the whole thing — “Unite The Seven.”

So, have they decided against the seven and are only going to have six members of the Justice League in the DC Films Universe?

Considering they haven’t even cast an actor as Green Lantern yet, that fans know of, he may not even appear in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Believe it or not, if Green Lantern has been cast, then it would be a nicely kept secret by Zack Snyder or they could just reference him in the movie.

Tonight’s special on The CW will be hosted by Kevin Smith and is going to seriously preview the dawning of the Justice League. A lot of other cool stuff and info will also likely come forth regarding other DC Films comic book movies.

The new concept art for the Justice League is the first true look at The Flash and Cyborg, but much more is on the way. It’s quite possible that more will be revealed in the special on The CW this evening and even more arriving in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice in two short months.
