Jeremy Calvert Engaged? ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Shares Instagram Photo: ‘She Said Yes!’

Could Jeremy Calvert be getting married for the second time? Just months after his divorce from Leah Messer was finalized, the Teen Mom 2 star shared an unexpected photo on Instagram, which appeared to confirm his engagement.

“She said yes!!!!!!!!” Jeremy Calvert wrote in the caption of an Instagram photo, which featured him and an unnamed woman showing of what appeared to be a new set of engagement rings.

Jeremy Calvert also shared two other photos of himself and the mystery woman, one of which featured the two of them looking at one another, and another of which featured Jeremy Calvert getting a kiss on his cheek from the woman. As soon as Jeremy Calvert, the father of Messer’s youngest daughter, Adalynn, 2, began sharing the photos, many believed he was going public with a new girlfriend, and once he claimed to be engaged, his followers began flooding him with comments. However, while many offered their congratulations, others called him out on what they believed to be a prank, and eventually, Jeremy Calvert confirmed their suspicions with another photo.

“@cguild1086 & @griffinportz519 her real man. Jesus christ people,” he wrote, along with a photo of his friends, Ashley Portz and Christopher Guild.

This isn’t the first time Jeremy Calvert played a prank on fans and then got annoyed at the response. Just weeks ago, the reality star posted a photo of himself on Twitter, which featured him in the back of a cop car with handcuffs on his wrists. Then, after fans assumed he had gotten engaged, Jeremy Calvert set the record straight, explaining that his cop friend set up the photo.

Jeremy Calvert married Messer in April 2012 and welcomed a child with her in February 2013. However, their marriage was brief, and in November 2014, after accusing Messer of being unfaithful, Jeremy Calvert filed for divorce.

Although Jeremy Calvert and his wife attempted to get their relationship back on track in the months that followed their split, Messer was later accused of drug use, and in May 2015, she entered treatment in Arizona, claiming to be suffering from anxiety and depression. A short time later, Messer began dating a new man, T.R. Dues, and Jeremy Calvert moved on with Brooke Wehr.

While Jeremy Calvert and Wehr kept their relationship on the down low for the first few weeks, they eventually went public, traveling together to Los Angeles for filming on the Teen Mom 2 Season 6 Reunion Special, and enjoying a double date with Messer’s first husband, Corey Simms. As fans of Teen Mom 2 may recall, Simms’ outing with Jeremy Calvert caused quite the stir due to many fans feeling that the two men were only together in an effort to get under the skin of their mutual ex-wife.

Plus, Simms has spoken out against Messer in the past, and stood by his on-screen claims regarding her alleged “drug problem.”

“There is a reason for everything that [Miranda Simms] and myself have said or done,” Simms explained on Twitter, via The Inquisitr. “We simply want the girls to grow up in a safe and healthy environment. There is a lot of things that has been told to us by very close members of her family that lead us to believe the things being told are very much true. If we didn’t care about the girls or the situation we would obviously not have anything to say or do about it.”

Jeremy Calvert and his family, including daughter Adalynn, will return to MTV later this year for Teen Mom 2, which is currently in production.
