Katie Rost of ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Talks Leaving Her Husband While 4 Months Pregnant
Last night, Bravo viewers met the women of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Katie Rost is someone that caught the eyes of viewers, and now she is speaking out about how hard it was to leave her husband when she was just four months pregnant. Of course, you never get pregnant expecting your marriage to not last, but that is what happened to Katie. She actually got married back in October of 2012 to James Orsini. James and Katie were best friends in college, and tied the knot. Radar Online is now sharing what Katie had to say about things not working out with them and getting a divorce during her pregnancy.

Katie Rost actually got a divorce and then moved back home to Potomac. Here is what she had to say about it all.
“It was really hard, but I knew that it was the right thing to do. I knew that I needed my mom and that there was no way I would be able to get through the pregnancy if I didn’t have a lot of support. Potomac is where I grew up. I just had to come home, so it was great because I didn’t have to deal with the stress of my marriage and I could just kind of be with my mom and my aunts and just relax and be in a tranquil environment. That was more important to me.”
The thing was Katie Rost and James Orsini were better off as friends than lovers, and she knew that, so she just called it quits. Katie moved back home, and living there is now beneficial since she has ended up on The Real Housewives of Potomac. Katie Rost shared that they both got hosed by the lawyers, which made divorce hard. Katie and James both wanted their marriage to work out and they just weren’t romantic enough. It sounds like Katie and James should have not got married, but it worked out in the long run.

Katie Rost is still in contact with James for sure, because of the fact that he is the father of her daughter. These two work great together now, and they are even doing a great job of co-parenting. Katie called him a great father, and hopefully, they can continue to work this great together. Of course, it is hard to do the co-parenting thing, but somehow Katie and James are making it work, which is great.
Katie Rost does have a new boyfriend though, and is moving on just fine. 2 Paragraphs shared about the new man in her life. Katie is dating Andrew Martin. Katie has walked the runway and is now modeling the Nicole Richie Collection on QVC. He is an investment broker and advisor at Oppenheimer & Co Inc in Washington, D.C. He’s been with the firm since 2013. Andrew will be seen on the new episodes of the show, and viewers will be getting to know him better.
Katie Rost actually has a son and twin daughters. Everyone is going to enjoy getting to know her better on this new season of The Real Housewives of Potomac. The new show has just started, and hopefully, fans will embrace these new women the way that they have the other housewife shows.
