Lamar Odom Health Update: Khloe Kardashian On Hospital Exit, James Harden Cheating

Lamar Odom was released from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood, California, earlier this month, and so far, he appears to be doing quite well. In addition to making two appearances in Los Angeles, one of which led to smiling photographs shared online by the Daily Mail, the former professional athlete’s wife recently confirmed he was able to walk again.

Although the latest photos of Lamar Odom, one of which was shared by the Daily Mail on January 17, don’t feature him walking, Khloe Kardashian told Live! with Kelly & Michael, via Us Weekly, that he was able to walk out of the hospital on his own, and added that he was doing “great” since his exit.

At the same time, Kardashian was tending to Lamar Odom, and supporting his recovery at the hospital, she was juggling her somewhat new relationship with James Harden, whom she began dating in the summer of last year, just months before Lamar Odom’s drug overdose. And while Kardashian’s dedication to Lamar Odom and his ongoing recovery certainly put a strain on the relationship, the two have made it through and are currently still dating.

Last night, during an interview on Watch What Happens Live, Kardashian opened up about her new man, and addressed the possibility of Harden cheating on her, as Lamar Odom had done during their four-year marriage.

“People are going to do what they’re going to do and you can’t live your life in fear,” Kardashian told Cohen, according to a January 18 report by Hollywood Life. “I just don’t believe in that.”

Last week, while promoting her new talk show Kocktails With Khloe, which premieres later this month on the FYI Network, in New York City, Kardashian spoke to Howard Stern, revealing details of Lamar Odom’s infidelities. During the interview, Kardashian claimed Lamar Odom had cheated for the majority of their marriage, and used his assistant’s phone to do so.

Since Lamar Odom was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel, fans of Keeping Up With The Kardashians have been waiting to find out whether or not his medical ordeal would be featured on the E! Network reality show, and so far, it has not been mentioned. However, there have been many reports claiming it will be soon discussed, and others which state it will not.

On January 17, Heavy speculated that Lamar Odom’s crisis would not be shown.

“Though the Kardashians are a very open family, this is something that viewers may never see,” the site explained. “They may talk about it on the show, but it’s highly doubtful that any footage of the incident will be shown, which is quite understandable. After all, Khloe Kardashian has revealed in the past that [Lamar Odom] didn’t want the negative aspects of their relationship aired on the show.”

Although Lamar Odom’s drug overdose may not be featured on Keeping Up With The Kardashians Season 11, the former professional athlete has been discussed numerous times since the season debuted at the end of last year. During a number of episodes of the reality show, Kardashian and her sisters, Kim and Kourtney, as well as her mother, Kris Jenner, have discussed her impending divorce from Lamar Odom, which appeared to be nearing its finalization, and also feuded over Jenner giving Lamar Odom the new cell phone number of his soon-to-be ex-wife.

Lamar Odom is currently receiving medical care at a private facility in Calabasas, California.
