The Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Denver Broncos game will stream live online Sunday, allowing fans to watch the second AFC Divisional Playoff game, with the winner going on to the conference championship where the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots await. But if that winner is going to be the Steelers, they'll have to do it without their leading receiver, Antonio Brown, and top running back, DeAngelo Williams.
Both players, the two most important pieces of the Pittsburgh offensive attack other than quarterback Ben Roethisberger himself, have already been ruled out of the Sunday afternoon showdown in Denver — Brown with a concussion suffered on a huge and illegal hit by Cincinnatti Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict with 22 seconds left in the Wild Card playoff game last weekend.
Burfict was suspended for three games as a result of the brutal hit, combined with what the NFL league office called "repeated violations of safety-related playing rules."
Williams missed the Wild Card game with a foot injury, and that same injury will keep him out of the Divisional Round game in Denver.
For that matter, Roethlisberger also suffered an injury in the Wild Card game, again thanks to a violent sack by Burfict. Roethlisberger had to leave that game with an aching throwing shoulder, but returned to lead the Steelers final drive which resulted in the victory that put them in the Divisional game.
But "Big Ben" is expected to play against the Broncos, despite the sprained AC joint and torn ligaments. How effective Roethlsiberger will be, especially without Brown and the 114.6 receiving yards per game he averaged this season, is a question that will only be answered by the game itself.

The big news out of Denver will be the return to the starting quarterback role by future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning. At age 39, Manning struggled badly in his nine starts, and was eventually benched in favor of backup Brock Osweiler.
But with a reported case of plantar fascitiis healed, Denver Coach Gary Kubiak yanked Osweiler after the first half of the final game of the season, bringing Manning back to finish — and win — the game that gave the Broncos the top seed in the AFC.
The Steelers beat the Broncos 34-27 just three weeks ago in Pittsburgh, but most likely due to their rash of injuries, and the fact that they are playing on the road, the Steelers have been designated 7 1/2 point betting underdogs by Las Vegas oddsmakers. In the same respect, the mathematical formula for determining win probability used by the Pro Football Reference site gives the Broncos an overwhelming 71 percent chance of winning the game.

But if the Steelers pull off what appears to be a highly improbable upset, they will need to beat the Patriots in New England to qualify for the ninth Super Bowl appearance in the history of the Pittsburgh franchise.
