Ariana Grande With Nathan Sykes Again — See What The Former Couple Did Now

Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes stopped dating in 2013, but the singers haven’t stopped talking. Now thanks to the friendship the ex-lovers continue to share, Ariana and Nathan are back together again.

At least in the recording studio, that is. Ariana Grande joined Nathan Sykes as he re-recorded “Over And Over Again” with female vocals, Us Magazine reported this week.

Sykes originally released “Over And Over Again” in 2015 as his second single. The song is about the heartache two people undergo after breaking up and is very important to Nathan Sykes.

“It’s such a special song to me, and I’m delighted that I’m able to share this with not only a friend of mine, but also somebody who is incredibly talented.”

Is this a song written about the feelings Grande and Sykes share? Yes, Nathan went on to tell MTV News that the song was specifically about the relationship he lost with Ariana. Could the new single help bring Sykes and Grande back together? There’s no word on that just yet, but “Over And Over Again” remains “a nice breakup song, but really emotional,” the singer said.

Before starting as a solo artist, Nathan Sykes was a part of the boy band The Wanted. The disbanded group recorded three in-studio albums, producing hits such as “Chasing The Sun” and “Glad You Came,” the latter peaking on the charts at No. 3 in the United States.

Before dissolving the band, Sykes had already struck up a professional and personal relationship with Grande. Nathan worked with Ariana to produce a single called “Almost Is Never Enough,” a track on Ariana’s Yours Truly album, as well as appearing in the motion picture The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

After his time with Ariana and The Wanted ended, Sykes set out on a solo musical career. In July, 2015, Nathan dropped his first single called “Kiss Me Quick,” a chart-topping hit dance song in America by the end of the summer.

Grande has soared to fame since releasing the first single with Nathan Sykes. Ariana released My Everything in 2014, producing four top-ten hits off the album. Currently, Grande is working on her fourth studio compilation, an album that does not yet have a title.

Despite her the fact her album has yet to be named, Ariana has already released a song that will be available when the musical work is completed. “Focus” was first announced in late 2015 on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, selling more than 113,000 units in its first week.

In addition to her work with Nathan Sykes on “Over And Over Again,” Grande has been busy working with other artists on their song. A collaboration with Meghan Trainor and Who Is Fancy has produced “Boys Like You.”

Ariana also attempted famous songs, too, as Grande covered the popular “What Do You Mean” track from Justin Bieber. The Inquisitr reported the “Bang Bang” singer had fans raving her version was better than Bieber’s.

The relationship between Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes began in 2013 and was over before the calendar turned, Us Magazine reported at the time. Despite the split, Grande had several complimentary things to say about the British singer and how the couple managed their relationship.

“It’s not as tough as people would think. We have the same music manager, so we can see each other’s schedules and plan little trips as often as we can. He’s the sweetest. He’s amazing. I have to say, he’s one of the most talented vocalists I’ve ever heard in my life.”
