Josh Duggar Battles Porn Star In Court Amid Anna Duggar Pregnant Rumor: TLC ‘Considering’ New Duggars Show [Video]
If Josh Duggar is among the millions making New Years resolutions, he may have set a goal of wiping the scandal slate clean and starting over in 2016. Instead, after 2015 scandals including the published reports about his molestation of underage girls, his use of the Ashley Madison website to cheat on his wife Anna Duggar, and his confession of porn addiction followed by a stay in a rehab facility, Josh has found himself in the headlines again this month after porn star Danica Dillon’s battery lawsuit headed to court, reported Radar Online.
Danica alleges that Duggar injured her emotionally and physically on two occasions when they met for paid sex. However, Josh insists that he never even met Dillon, and pleaded with the court to make the adult film star provide evidence that she actually was injured. With $500,000 in damages at stake, the judge sided with Danica and refused the motion by Duggar to require Dillon to release information on her employment and medical care costs.
“Presumably, if this matter is of such importance to her that she would file a public complaint, make accusations about Defendant on national television and demand more than half a million dollars, producing some documentation of her losses and injuries and the names of people who have knowledge about her allegations within the time set by this Court and required by its rules should be feasible,” argued the attorney for Josh.
A pretrial conference is set for January 21, following a previous attempt by Duggar to reject the case on the basis that Danica lacked sufficient details. That request also was denied, with Josh told by the judge to provide a response to the allegations of abuse.
Will Anna Divorce Josh?
Ever since his first scandal, Josh has had wife Anna by his side. And while fans wondered whether Anna would divorce him following his admission that he had cheated on her, she’s stood by her man. Now comes the news that Anna believes she is pregnant with their fifth child, according to an insider cited by Radar Online.
“Anna announced that she thinks she is pregnant again,” said the insider. “She believes the baby is a sign that God has forgiven Josh for his many sins, and she’s vowed to stand by her husband.”
On the Duggars TV specials that aired recently, Anna spoke about her view on her marriage to Josh.
“My prayer and my heart’s desire is for our marriage to be restored,” insisted Anna.
Could 19 Kids & Counting Reboot Resurface?
Following the decision TLC made to cancel 19 Kids And Counting after the revelations about Josh and his molestation of five underage girls attracted national attention, the network recently aired three specials about the Duggars.
“Every decision we’ve made has been done very thoughtfully and very carefully about what is in the best interests of the people involved and the network,” insisted Daniels. “Our first priority is making sure that there’s a health and well-being of our families first and foremost. We feature stories of different families with real people and real things happen.”
“We just aired the three specials during the holidays. They did very well,” insisted Daniels. “We’re still talking and considering it, but we have not made a decision yet [regarding additional Duggars family shows].”
