‘RHOBH’ Kyle Richards’ Friend, Faye Resnick, Is At Odds With Kathryn Edwards Because Of Nicole Brown Simpson?

Kyle Richards will soon meet a new co-star, but unfortunately, there isn’t much of a chance at them hitting it off. On next week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kathryn Edwards is introduced to the women, and not long after, she’s confronted over her ties to O.J. Simpson.

In a scene from the January 19 episode of the show, Lisa Rinna, another friend of Kyle Richards, brings up Simpson, but all Edwards says in the clip is that she knew him a long time ago. Meanwhile, a report from last September by All About The Tea sheds much more light on the situation. According to the report, Edwards was extremely close to the Simpson family, and even tied the knot at their home.

As All About The Tea revealed, Kyle Richards’ best friend was a close friend of the late Nicole Brown Simpson, and after she was tragically killed, Resnick wrote a book titled, Nicole Brown Simpson: The Private Diary Of A Life Interrupted, which was released in 1994. In the publication, Nicole Brown Simpson’s post-divorce life was exposed by Resnick, who was said to have been extremely close to her in the year leading up to her death, and one of the shocking details revealed included the former husband of Kyle Richards’ new co-star, Kathryn Edwards.

According to Resnick’s book, the ex-husband of Edwards, former Kansas City running back Marcus Allen, was cheating on her with Nicole Brown Simpson both prior to their wedding, and after. In addition, Resnick noted that Allen was one of O.J. Simpson’s best friends.

In response to Kyle Richards’ friend’s accusations, Allen’s attorney, Ed Hookstratten, said, “Although there may be some truth about some things in the book, when it relates to Marcus Allen it is absolutely false.”

In 2001, Edwards and Allen divorced, and the new reality star has since married another former NFL star, Donnie Edwards. However, according to the report, Edwards isn’t over the drama Resnick caused her family, and due to her closeness with Kyle Richards, Richards and Edwards have been at odds on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Despite Edwards’ alleged on-screen feud with Kyle Richards, Resnick recently claimed she wasn’t involved in the drama of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6.

Kyle Richards’ upcoming feud with Edwards isn’t the only drama she’s faced on the show. As fans recently saw, Kyle Richards was confronted with her sister Kim’s shoplifting arrest last week during a trip to The Hamptons. In her Bravo blog, Kyle Richards revealed her thoughts on Lisa Vanderpump’s comments on the issue.

“Words can’t describe what I was feeling at the moment. It was SO new. I had just heard and clearly wasn’t ready to talk about it,” Kyle Richards explained. “I was still processing what had happened and thinking about how it would impact Kim and our family. Emotions were running even higher for me because Kim and I weren’t speaking at the time so I felt helpless.”

“I appreciated Lisa’s words in her interview about Kim and how the situation was mishandled. Clearly my sister was not herself and would never have done something like that if she was.”
