NJ Governor Chris Christie Gets Heated On Jersey Shore, Threatens Education Supporter

Don’t mess with Chris Christie when he’s about to gnaw down on an ice cream cone. That’s the message one supporter of better education received loud and clear on Thursday night when he yelled at the New Jersey governor over his poorly executed education system. The entire event which was caught on tape shows Chris Christie hanging out with his family in Seaside Heights.

Just as the governor ordered an ice cream cone a passerby yelled some snide comments which led Christie to say:

“You’re a real big shot … you’re a real big shot shootin’ your mouth off.”

To which the man shot back:

“Nah, just take care of the teachers!”

Chris Christie apparently didn’t appreciate that last comment and started wobbling towards the man while yelling ”

“Keep walkin’ away … really good … keep walkin’.”

It took someone from the governor’s own group to grab him by the arm and pull him away from the man.

Christie has always had a temper, recently calling a reporter “stupid” and an “idiot” during a news conference.

In the meantime Mitt Romney’s camp is vetting Chris Christie as a possible vice presidential candidate. Perhaps if everything goes south during the Obama debates Chris Christie can just wobble Obama’s way and yell “keep walking” because it’s that type of intelligent leader we need in charge of our country. So what’s the lesson here? Don’t bother Chris Christie when he’s getting his ice cream on.

Do you think the New Jersey governor over-reacted to the statement hurled his way?
