'RuPaul's Drag Race' Season 8 Cast RuVeal Finally On Its Way, But The New Batch Might Have Leaked Already

Diehard fans of RuPaul's Drag Race have been going insane waiting for the latest news on the Season 8 RuVeal. After being put through a few brutal extra months than usual waiting for the goods, queen mother RuPaul has finally decided to spill a little bit of T for the children.

On February 1 at 10 p.m., the Drag Race-obsessed will sludge through the New Now Next Awards show in order to finally have the chance to see the new queens of Season 8. Traditionally called the "RuVeal," hungry devotees to the church of RuPaul will most likely have their appetites satiated by a series of short video interviews that give them their first look at the newest group.

As with every season, RuPaul is saying that 8 is the best -- or rather "most twisted" -- yet. Drag Race lovers are about to get hit with a bizarre group, the gender-bending icon told Logo TV.

"This season's queens are the most twisted yet. I fell in love with them the first moment we met, and I can't wait to unleash these crazy and talented b****es onto the world."
While the details of the Season 8 cast list are closely under wraps, one Reddit community of the most fiendish Drag Race addicts has already tracked the social media accounts of a number of queens who were rumored to appear on the show. As contestants are given an internet blackout while filming, it's usually fairly easy to see who might be in. From the original list of more than 50 queens, they have more or less nailed down who RuPaul has chosen for the next batch of girls.

Some of these watched accounts have more or less let it slip that they'll be joining the elite class of RuPaul's Drag Race queens. Derrick Barry, who already holds a certain amount of regard for his impersonation of Britney Spears in Vegas, was basically confirmed by an Australian nightlife company when a heckler asked "Who is this?" to a photo of the performer posted on their Facebook page.

Their reply, "Wait for season 8."

Although this method of sleuthing is far from fool proof, very few queens have slipped under r/rupaulsdragrace's watchful eye since their thirst started driving them to stalk potential cast members pre-show. Months before there was even a date for the RuVeal, they had a fairly definitive list of who Drag Race Season 8's cast would be.

  • Acid Betty (New York City, NY)
  • Bob the Drag Queen (New York City, NY)
  • Chi Chi DeVayne (Shreveport, LA)

Aside from the Season 8 RuVeal, hardcore RuPaul's Drag Race buffs are about to have a fantastic 2016. Not only is the newest installment on its way, but a second try at the poorly received All Stars has also been filmed. While the cast has been kept tightly under wraps, you better believe those fanatics on Reddit have already basically solidified the beloved queens who will be returning for a second chance at the crown.
