‘Movie Hangout Stuff’ Pack Available Now, Check Out The New Movies Sims Can Enjoy In ‘The Sims 4’

Now that the latest stuff pack, “Movie Hangout Stuff,” is now available, players can stop to appreciate the new movies available in The Sims 4. Owners of the new stuff pack will find 10 new movies that their Sims can enjoy. Sims can sit down to enjoy a romantic comedy, a classic zombie flick, or even family fun film with the new additions.

The new movies in The Sims 4 are for perfect for any Sim to enjoy, but the Sims 4 players might want to relax a bit and watch the latest Sim films. Among the 10 new movies, players can see the dead rise in “Sims of the Dead” or watch a few Sims try to survive in “Moonlight Massacre III.” “Diamonds Are For Sims” keeps the explosions frequent and the plot thin, while “Adventures of the Starship Simulation” scratches that sci-fi itch with Simbots, lens flare, and frog people.

These new movies continue the Sims tradition of featuring movies created in the previous iteration of The Sims, according to the official site. These new films are comprised of footage from The Sims 3 just like movies in The Sims 2 were put together from gameplay in The Sims. This means players will see many features and objects in the movies that are not available in The Sims 4. One notable example of this is in the “College Cram” movie that features many university items from a The Sims 3 expansion pack.

Players can start watching these new movies with the Sims and quite a few more with the new “Movie Hangout Stuff” pack. The contents of the pack, of course, include the new movie projector and popcorn popper. Those objects can be interacted with by Sims, too. For instance, the popcorn popper can make a selection of different popcorns depending on what the Sim wants to eat. Other objects that cannot be interacted with are also included in the pack.

Other items like furniture, decorations, clothes, and create-a-Sim options are also part of “Movie Hangout Stuff.” Brightly-colored new furniture, abstract wall hangings, and even new drapes are part of the “Movie Hangout Stuff” pack. Moreover, players will receive a variety of new clothing options, hair styles, and even a pair of glasses from the Sims 4 pack. For a full preview of objects and items in the pack, head over to the official site for a thumbnail preview of each one. The pack will also add a few build objects like doors and a tree.

The movie enthusiasm is not solely contained to the “Movie Hangout Stuff” pack either. Last week, The Sims 4 updated with a free patch that added eight movie posters perfect for Sims’ living room, recreation area, or personal theater. As the Inquisitr reported, the patch added these posters, fixed a few issues with the repairman, and adjusted Sim behavior to certain situations. The movie posters are located in the decorations section of the Buy Mode and can be specially found in the wall decorations division for easier access.

The last update to The Sims 4 also improved a few of the Gallery’s functions. Overlapping UI elements should not be present anymore, and a player’s ID should remain intact on creations after their download. Basically, players should not be able to download another player’s creation and upload it as their own any longer.

The “Movie Hangout Stuff” pack is out now for a price of $9.99. Of course, The Sims 4 is required to play, and interested players can pick up the latest pack straight from Origin. Buyers can save 10 percent off their purchase of any content for The Sims 4 thanks to the newly released Origin Access subscription. For $4.99 each month, Origin Access subscribers will have a library of games to download and play as much as they want. Additionally, a 10 percent discount is active throughout the Origin Store which extends to all of the Sims 4 DLC.
