5SOS Star Michael Clifford Reportedly Dating Crystal Leigh
Rumors have been swirling about Michael Clifford’s love life. The guitarist of the Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer is reportedly dating model Crystal Leigh.
The band traveled to Bali for their combination holiday and summer vacation. The guys of 5SOS, Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings, and Michael Clifford, were joined by their friends and a group of models. In that group was a girl named Crystal Leigh, who is reportedly dating Clifford.
The musician took to Twitter to share some photos of himself with the brunette, making fans think that they’re probably dating.
He shared this photo along with the tweet, “[Y]ou rid me of the blues (im sunburnt anyway) @crystalleigh [sic].”
Then a 5 Seconds of Summer fan account tweeted this video of Crystal and Michael in the pool with the rest of his bandmates. However, it has not been confirmed if the two are officially dating. As seen in other photos, Crystal has also been spending time with Luke, as well, according to the Hollywood Take.
Fans have been wondering the relationship statuses of 5SOS. Some say that Luke Hemmings has been dating Arzaylea, who was reportedly on vacation with the guys, but wasn’t seen in the Instagram photos with Leigh and the other girls on vacation with the band.
Hemmings confirmed in the band’s infamous Rolling Stone cover story that he is dating the “internet influencer.”
“It’s hard. One of the weird things is you want it to be a secret, but you don’t want it to be a secret.”
Ashton Irwin’s girlfriend, Bryana Holly, was also reportedly in Bali with the guys. The couple is reportedly back together after he told Howard Stern that he was single. Apparently, Ashton is the only one who’s openly admitted to having a girlfriend.
As for Michael Clifford, he’s typically kept his dating life on the down-low. But he has been famously linked to Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello. The pair was first spotted together at The Nice Guy restaurant early last year. Insiders told the Sun that Michael and Camila managed to keep a low profile during their supposed date.
“The pair entered through the back door so no fans or waiting photographers saw them. They didn’t want anyone knowing they were there. They looked pretty cozy.”
The insider also added that the two young stars were “giggling and acting like schoolchildren.” Cabello and Clifford were then reunited at 93.7 FLZ’s Jingle Ball 2015. The two even posed backstage after performing at the Amalie Arena on December 19.
The 5 Seconds of Summer musician took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with Cabello, once again sparking the romance rumors.
Clifford wrote, “[T]his small one. known this girl for 3 years now and I’ve got to see her grow up to be a magical woman. she looks like 15 years old in this picture. thanks for putting up with my s**t @camila_cabello.”
It’s not the first time that Michael and Camila have caused the dating rumors to swirl.
Back in March 2013, he reportedly tweeted, “Ok I’m crushing on you hard.”
Now it looks like the stars may have been involved in a tweeting scandal. Rumors are swirling that Cabello’s iCloud has been allegedly hacked, revealing her flirty exchange with Clifford. The NSFW texts indicate that two may be more than just good friends.
Whether or not these texts are for real is still up in the air. Neither the 5SOS star nor the 5H singer has addressed this scandal. Hopefully, Michael is not playing both girls at the same time.
