Duggar Family Lands New TLC Show, Reports Indicate Duggars Are Filming

Is the Duggar family filming for TLC again? It looks like that is exactly what is happening, and fans couldn’t be more excited! Since 19 Kids and Counting was canceled over the summer, Duggar fans have been up in arms. Many of them sent letters and emails to the network, some even calling and leaving voicemails. The Duggar family was rocked with what seemed like scandal after scandal in 2015, and it looks like this year may be better for them.

It was confirmed that the Duggar family was filming at a lumber yard in Arkansas not too long ago. According to The Hollywood Gossip, the Duggar family was on location for approximately three hours and they did make a purchase before they left. It is unclear whether or not this filming is for a special or for an actual show. There has been several debates about whether or not the Duggar family should be put back on the air. TLC likely realized the viewership decreased with cancellation of 19 Kids and Counting, and the most recent special garnered over three million views. There is a fan base for the Duggar family, all they need now is a new show.

The Duggar family was rocked to the core by their oldest son, Josh Duggar. Reports initially were released about incidents that had happened over a decade ago involving inappropriate touching. The victims were then exposed as his own sisters, and that hit another low for the family. The Duggar family stood behind Josh, including his wife Anna. Because the police reports were released and the victims were named, Josh Duggar stepped down from his position in Washington D.C. and moved back to Arkansas. Just as things were settling down, another scandal broke. That was when the Duggar family knew they were in trouble.

When the Ashley Madison hack happened, no one expected that it would affect the Duggar family. Josh Duggar had apparently used the site. While initially it was unclear just how involved Duggar was, he later admitted to cheating on his wife. Since then, at least one woman has come forward and attempted to sue Josh Duggar. While all of this was happening, the Duggar family was in shambles. They were coping, but what was the next step? They decided to do a sit down interview with Fox News, but that wasn’t satisfying what the public wanted. Despite the wrongdoings of Josh Duggar, the fans wanted the Duggar family back on air.

To be clear, it looks like the Duggar family will all be included in the show. According to Starcasm, the entire Duggar family will likely be included in whatever show is being made. It doesn’t appear to be something like Jill & Jessa: Counting On, but it is unclear whether or not Josh Duggar will be a part of it. While many fans were upset about TLC canceling 19 Kids and Counting, many of them have voiced their opinions about whether or not Josh Duggar should be a part of the show. For now, he is still in an Illinois rehab facility so filming is unlikely. There is no information about how long he will remain there either.

As the filming progresses, the Duggar family will likely keep fans up to date with what is going on. They run their own blog and often update with family moments and other things regarding news. While TLC has yet to announce that they are once again filming with the Duggar family, fans are excited about the possibilities. The Duggar family has been an important part of several fans’ lives and without them on the air, it just hasn’t been the same.
