Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan Use Each Other’s Throwback Photos As Profile Pics
Country singers Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan took their hilarious antics to Twitter this week simply by changing their profile pictures.
The funny part was not necessarily that they changed their respective profile pictures. On the contrary, the highlight was that they replaced their own photos with hilarious pictures of each other.
For instance, Blake Shelton used an old photo of a much younger Luke Bryan wearing a cowboy hat with his hands resting on a guitar.
It essentially looks like a serious photo – one that looks like it belongs on an album cover.Dying at the the fact that @blakeshelton has Luke Bryan as his profile picture!????

Luke Bryan fans know, though, that the award-winning singer’s huge smile is a major highlight of most of his official album covers. Seeing a clean-shaven younger version of the “Strip It Down” singer with a serious facial expression, therefore, is a perfect target for mockery and endless punchlines.

Luke apparently had a massive bulls eye of his own to place on his friend’s head with a not-so-serious throwback picture of a long-haired Blake Shelton.
Longtime fans of Blake Shelton will more than likely remember his long and curly locks from the early stages of his career. Blake wore a cowboy hat on the cover of his self-titled debut album back in 2001. However, fans got a really nice look at his curly hair on the cover of his second studio album, The Dreamer in 2003.#Bluke lives on. And to think we thought we’d never have anymore Bluke moments again. @LukeBryanOnline @blakeshelton pic.twitter.com/EZSM29Rj8L

Those that have been following Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan’s friendship over the years know that they prank and joke each other like this all of the time – bringing their biggest fans and critics along for the ride.
For April Fool’s Day last year, Luke got a fake tattoo of Blake Shelton’s face – a badly drawn, almost-caricature of Blake’s face. Luke rubbed it in by posting a picture of the “tattoo” on Twitter, asking Blake what he thought about his “new ink.”

During a hilarious game of “Would You Rather?” Blake Shelton had a chance to shut Luke down with a punchline of his own. When asked whether he would listen to “Rain is a Good Thing” or “Country Girl (Shake It for Me)” on repeat for 24 hours straight, Shelton did not hesitate to show off his knack for impressive comic timing and witty responses.
“There’s no other choices? I’m trying to think which one of them is country. Neither one of ’em really. I’d say ‘Rain is a Good Thing’ because… it doesn’t objectify women as badly as ‘Country Girl (Shake It for Me).'”
When the news of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani dating was first confirmed late last year, Luke Bryan was apparently ready and waiting for yet another opportunity to take a comic jab at his friend.
During an interview with E! News before the 2015 Country Music Association Awards in November, Bryan joked that there was no way Blake could ever get with a woman as hot as Gwen.
“He didn’t come out about that. You’re trying to trick me… Pull [it] up online. I need to see where Blake has stated that… It can’t be true, because there’s no way Blake could ever score a girl like that. It’s not true.”
When watching them interact with one another, it truly does seem as if Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan are more like brothers than just close friends – especially when they are showing off their funny sides.
