Are Aaron Rodgers, Olivia Munn Engaged? Packers QB Reportedly ‘Couldn’t Wait’

Did Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers get engaged to actress Olivia Munn? That is what an inside source reportedly revealed to OK! magazine.

According to the report, it was a complete surprise for the X-Men: Apocalypse actress.

“Olivia wasn’t expecting it, but they’re so in love he just couldn’t wait.”

Hollywood Life reports that the NFL star popped the question to Olivia during a romantic dinner. It even states that Rodgers followed tradition by seeking her parents’ approval first before he proposed.

The 32-year-old former first-round NFL draft pick first started dating Olivia Munn back in May of 2014.

During an October 2015 interview with ESPN, Rodgers opened up about his relationship with Olivia, claiming that his girlfriend was very good at encouraging and supporting him.

“She’s a huge encourager and a huge supporter. She’s put some of her own career goals on hold for me to encourage me in achieving my own. With Olivia, I have that person who is in my corner always, is willing to make me a priority and be understanding with my life and everything that comes with it.”

According to People, Olivia Munn made it clear that the inspiration and encouragement apparently flows in both directions. She admitted that Aaron Rodger’s fitness regimen and diet were major sources of inspiration to her as well.

“My boyfriend’s healthiness inspires me. Aaron is so different than every other man I’ve ever met… there’s so much I could say. Everything a good person can be, he is. He’s in such great shape. And especially lately, he’s been eating so well and working out. Having somebody in your life like that is so motivating.”

If the reports of his engagement are true, Aaron Rodgers has set the stage to start 2016 off with a bang both personally and professionally.

Professionally, he led the Green Bay Packers towards shutting down the Washington Redskins in an impressive 35-18 Wild Card match Sunday, advancing his team to the Divisional round of the playoffs and one step closer to possibly making it to the 2016 NFL Super Bowl.

If Rodgers and the Packers make it to the Super Bowl, it will mark the team’s first time in a Super Bowl match-up since their championship victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers back in 2011 at Super Bowl XLV.

Back in November, Olivia Munn’s relationship with Aaron Rodgers became a big topic of discussion within the world of NFL fans, critics, reporters, and commentators alike. The ongoing debate tried to focus on whether or not Olivia was ruining Aaron’s chances at success on the field.

Even though numerous people voiced their opinions about the “Olivia Munn problem” via social media, they were apparently not the ones who caused Olivia to bite back with a lengthy response and rant of her own.

The Newsroom actress targeted news outlets — specifically Fox Sports and the Washington Post — for validating the harsh comments of the online “fans.” Olivia argued that since news organizations were “built by the trust of the public,” they should not have given the people behind those nasty remarks “vitriol validity” or even deem them as “fans.”

Aaron Rodgers apparently took a more subtle approach to the negative remarks about his relationship with Olivia Munn. Instead of responding with a well-worded tweet, Aaron indirectly responded with an impressive performance on the field – leading to his current journey towards taking the Green Back Packers all the way to Super Bowl 50.
